Storm were doing what Storm do, and that is push the limits of the ref. If it wasn't the Vermon they were playing we would all be highlighting this fact I am sure. Seriously ! I get SO SO sick of Ref bashing.
The Trent Loiero 'late tackle' Cam Murray? Loiero braces himself, doesn’t move at all and Murray runs right into him and Souths get a penalty and puts them into a position to make a comeback. That penalty was not warranted. You can always argue the other ones are warranted but they can also ignore infractions on the other side. It didn't extend both ways as far as inside the 10 goes in the last 15m. Trent Robinson himself complained that the refs seem to [subconsciously] engineer comebacks to keep the game entertaining, but that is not their job!

You can always argue about the run of the refs, one team almost always gets a better rub, so even better when it leaves them with a donut.

I look forward to beating them next week and leaving the souffs fans worrying about the same sponsored by Audi jokes that the Bulldogs suffered last year (ie 4 0's)

I don't want to celebrate their loss too much just yet. We face our biggest bogey team tonight.

The Rooters had a game plan to keep Tommy Turbo quiet this week, and it worked a treat.
If Robbo has one to keep LM quiet, and the Roosters execute it next week, I will be a very , very, happy fan.

Yeah, they came up with that one when we were the most heavily penalised team in the comp. One thing I've learned being a Rooster - it doesn't matter what the team does, how injustly they're treated, or how courageous they win, the haters will always come up with some lame reason to yell 'cheat!'

According to The Daily Telegraph, the 29-year-old will be interviewed by police over sexual touching allegations made by a woman in the Sydney suburb of Mascot.

St George Illawarra have released a short statement confirming their knowledge of the situation.

"The St George Illawarra Dragons have been made aware of a matter involving one of its players by the NRL integrity unit," the statement said.

"The Dragons are working closely with all parties as the matter is under police investigation.

"The Dragons will be making no further comment at this stage."

Burgess returned to the NRL this season and made his club debut for the Dragons in their round 2 loss to Penrith.
