Now.. I despise the Vermon as much as the next bloke on here... But to insinuate the ref's "manipulated" the last 10-15 minutes is just lunacy... The Storm were blatantly rushing up off their goal line in that period just prior to the SIN BIN. Every penalty was warranted .. In fact they were warned about it. They deserved the binning. Storm were doing what Storm do, and that is push the limits of the ref. If it wasn't the Vermon they were playing we would all be highlighting this fact I am sure. Seriously ! I get SO SO sick of Ref bashing.

The Trent Loiero 'late tackle' Cam Murray? Loiero braces himself, doesn’t move at all and Murray runs right into him and Souths get a penalty and puts them into a position to make a comeback. That penalty was not warranted. You can always argue the other ones are warranted but they can also ignore infractions on the other side. It didn't extend both ways as far as inside the 10 goes in the last 15m. Trent Robinson himself complained that the refs seem to [subconsciously] engineer comebacks to keep the game entertaining, but that is not their job!

Yeah we intentionally concede penalties in order to gain an unfair advantage. Didn't you know that?

Yeah, they came up with that one when we were the most heavily penalised team in the comp. One thing I've learned being a Rooster - it doesn't matter what the team does, how injustly they're treated, or how courageous they win, the haters will always come up with some lame reason to yell 'cheat!'

According to The Daily Telegraph, the 29-year-old will be interviewed by police over sexual touching allegations made by a woman in the Sydney suburb of Mascot.

St George Illawarra have released a short statement confirming their knowledge of the situation.

"The St George Illawarra Dragons have been made aware of a matter involving one of its players by the NRL integrity unit," the statement said.

"The Dragons are working closely with all parties as the matter is under police investigation.

"The Dragons will be making no further comment at this stage."

Burgess returned to the NRL this season and made his club debut for the Dragons in their round 2 loss to Penrith.
