Strong victory last night thought our forwards were exceptional & especially pleased with the defence during the 2nd half given the amount of ball the Seagulls had.

It was interesting to see Momo in the centres and Billy shift to the right. Would that mean Suaalii comes in for Billy, cause Billy isnt a winger IMO. Has potential in attack, but I personally would like to see more of Suaalii

I think that's what will pan out, Billy looked a bit lost playing right wing.
Momo is such a good defensive centre I'm sure he'll be there the trysaver he came up with on turbo was a classic.

It was luck, a supposed world class half in DCE couldn’t manufacture one in 80 mins, Tommy was completely shut down, it was left to a winger to throw the dice, of course Robbo wasn’t happy about it, every Roosters supporter won’t be happy about it.

It was just a desperate play that worked out for them like I said a nothing issue our defence was superb against a more fancied opponent at almost full strength I think the only notable injury is Josh Shuster.

It was great to watch.

Main thing from me last night - we need our 2nd rowes to protect Walker a bit more. He had to tackle that massive unit way too much. That, or stick a pig on his shoulder and let the backrower defend 1 in.

It will be a long year for him if we dont do better there.

Much better balanced backline with Momo & Manu in the centres for the whole game. The Chooks have to stick with Momo Manu centre combination & Billy Smith is gonna have to play on the wing.
The halves were very good up against probably the most experienced halves in the game.
I thought all the forwards played good but I thought Sitilli again was the Roosters best player.Manly had that period where they threw everything at the Chooks but the Chooks hung in there & played gritty.
So we are off the mark & move from 15thg spot to maybe in the 8 & prepare for the arch enemy next week.

I just watched the replay.
Foran had the ball, was running to the left.
Radley came across from behind him...ran at him, Radley's right arm making contact with Foran's right shoulder at the back.
Radley's momentum caused Foran to fall forward, he hit the ground with Radley sitting on top of him.

Why didn't we see the tackle from the other way, from the front of Foran...on one of Fox's *7658* cameras?
Point of contact was with the back of Foran's shoulder.
If that's a high tackle charge it's now a game for sissies.

No but it’s been an ongoing rumour. Supposedly he rejected the Dolphins offer because he’s going overseas.

I don’t know what happened to Taukeiaho whether it was injury or just a bit of a form slump but he was up there with as a top 5 prop in the game only 12 months ago. Looks like last season was just a blip and he’s back at that level already, was outstanding tonight.

I think it's all just the bollocks rumours that he's an anti-vaxxer and clashed with us. Fact is he played, so this was all bollocks.

Would say he's top-shelf material but is behind Collins and JWH in the pecking order so will probably be looking around for a more suitable contract. BUT... Collo's been a bit poor the past couple of games IMO. Sure he's coming back from an ACL but he's gonna have to play himself into form some time or another if he wants to remain ahead of Tauks. Assuming he is (with Tauks being our 'special team' style forward who can do 2 games worth of metres in 50 minutes... in my mind that makes him a keeper!!!!)
