Again played really well in the middle when he came on and then in his second stint had to shift into the 2nd row due to injury and did a really good job.

He consistently does whatever the team needs of him. His consistency in performance will come when he gets consistency in one position until then he will just continue to put in wherever required.

He needs to take Jane’s place in the second row.

Think it might be his little bro who could be snapping at Crichton’s heels this year.

Geez Crichton’s been poor. Haven’t seen him interested since early last year

I’m not saying Angus isn’t trying I just think he’s pretty ineffective. We saw how good he can be at the backend of 2020. He was the best backrower in the comp then. He is also very well paid and needs to justify this.

                  Can’t wait for Egan’s return.

Wasn’t playing 2nd row at the back end of 2020. That’s the key I just don’t think his best position is in the 2nd row. I think he could potentially be an absolute gun at lock, just unfortunately for him we are already well stocked in that position.

He looks for contact on every carry rather than looking to run into a hole and it still looks like he has some Union habits in his game where as he goes into contact he lowers his centre of gravity, ducks his head and tries to get to the ground as quickly as possible.

He was playing backrow in 2019 & was very very good.
2020 he played both backrow & in the middle & was pretty good.
2021 he played in the backrow & wasn’t too bad.
2022 Sitilli is now the Roosters best backrower & Angus so far has been average, I think he is recovering from an arm injury.

I'm glad someone noticed this, I wondered during the game why he wasn't running more upright, looking to break tackles etc.

Is he wearing that tight thing on his arm due to an injury, or is it for style?

LOL yeah it's definitely the NRL equivalent of one of those US street ball 'ankle breaking' videos hey? Great footwork there!

I thought he was strong against Manly, as were all our forwards...or team for that matter.
