Lolz there's a Matt Scott in that team too? Interesting. Good to see he's keeping active. Have voiced my other opinions about his most recent actions but I wish him the best moving forward.

David Greene assistant coach of the Thirlmere-Tahmoor Roosters played 2 seasons for Eastern Suburbs - 1983-1985 - missed the whole 1985 season due to Injury- released and went to Penrith

                Your good King.
Is the Berrima Gaol team 'The Colts' still in the group 6 comp?
The Gaols closed but are The Colts still around?

Colts are no more - Berrima/Moss Vale/Robertson/Bowral have joined up to form Southern Highlands Storm - They play Senior Footy in Group 7

The New South Wales Department of Corrective Services allowed Berrima Gaol ('The Colts') to field a team in the Second Division competition from 1975 to 1979. Captain- coached by Ingleburn Bulldogs junior Kevin Holland, this real life team of 'Longest Yarders' claimed the 1975 & 1977 (undefeated) Second Division premierships. In an irony, this team was the best conditioned of any Group 6 team at the time living a professional athlete's life of strength training, cardio conditioning, ball sessions and a rigid, non- alcohol diet (except after matches apparently!) all at the expense of HMG. Berrima defeated Moss Vale 15–13 in the 1975 2nd Division decider and Macquarie Fields 22–11 in the 1977 decider.

The Gaol fielded a team in the 1st Division Reserve Grade competition of 1976, qualifying for the preliminary final of that competition before succumbing 18–11 to eventual premiers Ingleburn Bulldogs RLFC.

Berrima Gaol was up for sale late last year- not sure if it was sold though- It was expected to sell for somewhere between $5 and $10 million.

Be interesting to see how this New Group 6 comp goes since the Mighty East Campbelltown Eagles are back in Group 6 from the Sydney Shield which they won 3 times.- 2014/2016/2018

My Father In law was Governor of Berrima for quite a while, says it was a top place to work back in the day. League team would have been before his time but would be interesting to hear some stories if he knows of any

Up until recently, some inmates from Parklea Drug Treatment facility who get weekend release played Rugby for Blacktown on their weekends out. One of Mundines relatives absolutely killed it

Not a good start for old Fergo and Curtis Scott

Picton Magpies 30 defeated Thirlmere-Tahmoor Roosters 16 - Fergo 2 from 3 with the Boot

East Campbelltown Eagles 28 defeated Mittagong Lions 8 on the their return to Group 6

Saw on twitter tonight that Fergo retweeted our tweet of the boys singing the victory song and captioned it with “ this song never gets old always brings back great memories of 4 great years at the club, up the chookies “. Gotta love the fergy

Now being 55 I see things alot differently & I think living in the Southern Highlands working as the Governor of Berrima Gaol would of been unreal. Nice country Gaol with inmates like Reggie Jackson.
So long as you never get attacked during your shift I reckon your job is a pretty cushy job that you can earn good money from. I actually think Berrima Gaol is beautiful, Ive been to it not as an inmate but when Ive been in Berrima, I did a tour of it.
