  • Dont be surprised...

To see Eddie Jones at this club in some capacity next year. Not as first grade coach but something. Also O'Meley going to Hull for 3 years. Is that true?

O'Meley is expected, we can use that money to re-sign Cherrington and Towers.

I wonder if Mason is gonna stay?

God I hope not, he is incredibly negative and brings nothing to any team he is involved with

I can't say I care for Eddie Jones one little bit so if that comes off it will only add to my belief that the lunatics are running the asylum.
As for O'Meley, well, I was one of those along with a Wallster called Hendo who didn't want him here in the first place so I won't be bothered if he goes to Hull and I don't see him again this year.

            O'Meley signs with Hull
            Saturday, July 04, 2009

            http://www.sydneyroosters.com.au/def...splay&id=18007

Sydney Roosters forward Mark O’Meley has signed with Hull for 2010 on a three year deal.

O’Meley, who joined the Roosters in 2008, will depart the club at the end of this season.

Mark made an instant impact at the Roosters and was voted Clubman of the Year in 2008. He has played a key off field role in the development of young players coming through the ranks who are now making an impact on the field.

The Roosters have released Mark from the final year of his contract with Coach Brad Fittler saying that his leadership will be greatly missed.

Whilst the Roosters are disappointed that he won’t be with the club next year it is a great opportunity for Mark and his family to experience life in the UK.

“I have had a wonderful time at the Roosters and am able to take some great memories with me,” said Mark.

“Whilst it has been a lean season this year I am excited about the future of the Club and the young players that we have coming through.

“I am sad to be leaving but am looking forward to the experience over in the UK and it will be nice to be there alongside Fitzy and our families.”

Mark will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his knee this week that will see him ruled out for the remainder of the 2009 season.

Wow, so it's official. Well, my thanks go to Mark for his efforts at this club, particularly for 2008. All the best in England and with Hull.

What could Eddie Jones bring to the club ?

The only positive I could see is that it would p!ss Alan Jones off !

It would piss alot of people off, thats what Eddie Jones does.
That and completely destroy the fabric of the team he is coaching.

He put Australian Rugby so far behind the rest of the world it was ridiculous. Actually it shows the quality of Larkam, for if not for him the Wallabies would have flogged in most games

What use would a rugby union coach be to us for avoiding the spoon again next season?!?!??!

It is probably a well-timed rumour with the intention of putting a rocket up the players fat, over-weight arses!
