  • Have we got the softest pack in the comp??

Yes they are big units but also weak as piss, Couldn't dominate a house full of infirms...
JWH i reckon was about the only forward worth praise today..

Add to that a backline full of nothing, then you have a side that will be eaten alive by Canberra next week!!

We lost because we have no attack.

Not the fault of the forwards at all.

JWH was better than the lot put together.

I thought JWH was good - but he was probably playing for a few extra $$$ before he f*cks off to Rugby.
Kennedy was solid and is getting back to what we saw at the beginning of last year.
I reckon Cordner was solid for the first half hour but, like the rest of our pack, went missing again.
We still dominated there pack for the majority, like we did Souths.
I don't have a problem with our forwards.

You're kidding right.. They gave us no go forward at all & were pissweak in defence !!! Can't attack without some sort of dominance... But in saying that even if they had contributed anything today we haven't got the backs to capitalise..

No they aren't soft - they are either poorly coached or dumb or both, they don't hunt as a pack in either attack or defence.

Majority of the first half I mean.
                Definitely not the majority.

                  SPOT ON BF
The forwards got killed today and the backs ............dummy half runs thats it... what a disjointed poorly coached team we are!

I am sitting there watching Arona with carney and Ferret dummy half running with Simmons suited up watching the game taking photos with the crowd??? WTF WTF WTF
At least simmonds has some size speed and ball skills and he is taking pics in with the crowd WTF is that about.

Alot comes back to when we give them the ball

It seems to take an eternity to give the big blokes the ball, by the time they get it they are running at a brick wall

Many times today we had 3 good hit ups and play the ball's only for Mitchell, Pearce and Braith to go bilnd or go from dummy half.

                    Totally wasting the momentum built

                      No, they're just the youngest.

I know these aren't mutually exclusive but we suffer from a lack of experience not a lack of quality. Most of these kids haven't even played a full season yet, it's ridiculous to think we'd do anything this year with such an inexperienced forward pack.

You can't underestimate what a year of FG footy would do to blokes like Tasi & Cordner. Unfortunately though they're not ready for starting roles and certainly not ready to be the leaders our forward pack lacks.

Which makes the decision to let Ryles go all the more STOOPID !!!

The club can't blame a lack of experience as the problem when they have created this situation in the first place.

Can't agree mate.. They don't have any momentum to start with. They are dominated in every ruck they run soft & don't cover well in defence.. Most of their problems are of their own makings.

Hope your watching the replay buddy, field position and the forwards were not the problem.
Not building pressure with repeat sets and going the short / blind side when we have momentum killed us.
