Yeup, I knew the Roosters would do that. Another insipid performance. The bookies will or should wind the Roosters right out because what I've seen in the three games thus far, they won't make the eight.

    • Luke Keary really needs to step up and take control of this team.

We look so good when he’s on the ball but sick of seeing him stuck out on the right edge playing 2nd receiver. He’s our most influential player and IMO one of the beat halves in the game.

I’m not having a crack at him as I’m sure it’s not easy working your way back from an ACL but when we went behind by 18 and he got the shits and started to get his hands on the ball all off a sudden we had structure in attack and looked really good. He needs to step up, Teddy, Walker & Radley need to be the supporting band and get out his way for the next month until they’ve learnt how to play with him again.

      • got what we deserved - too many dumb penalties, crucial bad reads in defence and looking for the low percentage plays in attack.

but there were some good things and when we click we'll be hard to beat.

        • Only positive from tonight is that Souffs are too sh*t to win the comp

Thrashed tonite...we need to get a new set of trialists for next week.
Teddy can sit out, Manu can play fullback.
            Keighran can play right wing.
Or Keary can have a rest and Keighran can play 5/8.
            Toups and Momo can play.
Radley can play right centre instead of Manu, Radley is too small for a lock so has to be in the backs somewhere...maybe right wing to tackle Johnston.
We need bigger forwards who can tackle, run onto short passes at pace and make metres and crash over for tries.

Our team tonite looked like it was past their bedtime and they couldn't wait to get home and put their heads on the pillow.
            This a stitch up?

            • We have the weakest most ineffective forward pack in the comp with no go forward. Always stuck in our own half. The players we have are duds. Collins adds nothing. Crichton gives away penalties. JWH is getting old. Don’t like Smith under a high ball. Manu and Walker were our best. Toups always is in there too.

              • Our best players were all well below par. Teddy, Keary, Walker, Radley were very unusually sloppy. South’s leaders aimed up, in particular Murray and Cook. We can’t contain opposition when they exploit us from dummy half down the middle. Need to work on that, our discipline and composure in possession building sets and grinding. We wanted to score razzle dazzle every time and that won’t happen when keary, Radley and co haven’t played for 2 years. They need more games and in time we’ll be ready for the business end of the season

                • Our worst enemy today was once again ourselves. Errors, penalties etc. South’s are becoming a bogey team for us. At least it wasn’t round 1 bad though, we play them round 25 so hopefully between then and now our combos start to click. Also…

…Angus Crichton. Dropped to the bench for his poor form. Thought he may try to rectify that today. Nope. Instead gives away crucial penalties. He takes up $800,000 of our cap. Hopefully he starts to perform like someone who is worth that much.
                  EASTS TO WIN!

Agree. I think the combo between him Ted and Sam is very clunky at the moment. Hopefully it clicks come the business end ala 18

The fear was that neither Keary or Walker are organising halves ..

                      sadly, it was shown.

Sam got us on top last week and he joined the party. Will come good but to your point, ACL and 3rd game with no trials and new combos.

                        • Our captain over playing his hand put pressure on his team in the opening 20. A piss poor captains game.

Yeah something's not right with our attack ay!

I felt like most of Souffs' tries came off the back of really poor/clunky attack. We had a few solid plays towards the end but it was too little, too late (and one of them led to an easy try).

Teddy doesn't look much either? I thought Manu was doing most of his work.

Sigh. Long season but we'll get there.

                              • No more smith...Suali in...forwards were rubbish...only Walker had a go...Keary and Teddy were shit.
rattled by a bunch of wankers again.
The refs? Won 4 challenges that says it all.
One sided...3 forwards by souffs. Nothing
