We’re not the same team. At least, we’re not playing like the same team. I’m hoping that they’ll improve as the season goes on, but… so far it’s very disappointing.

It’s round 3 people, let’s not slit our wrists just yet. I know it hurts to lose to the vermin, but it’s only March, not friggin’ September. We are still getting our new combos together, on both sides of the ruck. Show some of the patience that you were demanding from the players.

Most of the time we don't have a clue how to score tries when we get inside the opposition's 20.

Our captain over playing his hand put pressure on his team in the opening 20. A piss poor captains game.

Last year he had to carry us almost single handedly at times all through involvement and effort and was praised for it. This year he needs to show patience and trust his halves to bring him in. He struggled with this early in his first season with us too.

Our attack is pretty pedestrian. Teddy gets the ball every time on those second man plays. He then dies a low percentage tip on that puts the receiver under pressure.

Long way to go but Easts are a off the pace at the moment.

Tonight, the Roosters deserve no more of my time so I'm going to go and watch the cricket because another exciting draw is on the cards in Pakistan.

I've said this before and I'll say this again (I'm not attacking Fletcher Baker here but I have no choice), we need another big body, aggressive young forward who isn't afraid to take a line or players on. Daniel Suluka-Fifita should have been picked on the bench instead of Baker.

Our pack got absolutely pumped tonight, not a single player from our a pack stood up, SST appeared to be the only player having a go. We need big bodies, we need some young blood, some mongrel ... time to inject the likes of Tuku Hau Tapuha, Nafahu Whyte and Renouf Atoni. Make the current starting pack earn their way back.

just got outplayed tonight ,we will get better as the season progresses, we miss Sammy V, Joseph S will give us some real punch on that right wing, Sitili was good running the holes but was poor in defense as usual, it is what it is its up to Trent to make at least one hard call next week maybe two see wat happens

Well we had 3 premierships and minor premierships and club championships and twin premierships. So we might have to wait a few more years to gain ascendancy. But I’d rather be a rooster supporter than a supporter of any other team. We’ve had it real good for a long while. I guess now it’s rebuilding time especially getting a stronger pack.

They need to work out the roles of Keary/ Walker and Tedesco in attack - Keary maybe working his way back into footy I don't know but he had a very quiet game.

I know Tedesco wants the ball a lot each set which goes back to last year but this year he needs to pick his moments and give Keary and Walker more opportunities with the ball each set.

Teams are obviously going to mark Tedesco more as well if his maintains such an involvement in each set in attack compared to if he picked his moments as he doesn't have to do it all himself.

I harp on a bit about ball control and set completions but again this is an issue - 46% of possession and 67% set completions ( 25/37 ) is not going to win you many if any games.- Vermin 54% of the ball and 83% set completions (36/43).

Everything goes down hill with such poor ball control as you have to defend more and from that comes the errors - missed tackles/penalties-set restarts and frustration plus of course fatigue and your game falls apart.

Leadership issue? Hard losing full-stop! Bounce back next game… got enough quality across the 30 & Robbo's the man to find the right mix …& get the attitude & mindset required, to turn up week in/week out.

Tonight reminded me of when Teddy first came to the club, over played his hand a bit and things didn’t come off.
As a team we were down, Manu the stand out but the forwards didn’t earn it in the middle.
I really don’t think it’s time to slit our wrist, we have not had a genuine hooker which will make a big difference.
‘Really miss Isaac in the middle, I was sad to see him go but good luck to him making some money towards the end of his career.
We just can’t make so many mistakes and then give away dumb penalties and expect to win games.
‘It’s only early, no injuries tonight, we can build from here, Teddy owned it in the press conference, he knows he didn’t execute so hopefully a wake up for him.
How did Joseph go for North’s , I like Smith but the kid is special.
Ii don’t know what to say about our forward pack, it’s early and will leave that to coach.
It’s not over team, it’s only just begun.
