The great players know that. The lessers hang on too long.

I just hope he calls it sooner rather than later, or face being dropped. I think the Roosters respect him so much to let him know he is not in the best 17 anymore and he has 2 more games to prove it them wrong. I think the games gone past JWH. DSF is young and fire in the belly. His runs in the trials were handy and aggressive. Taku is young and has a great offload. These young guys will leave if not given a chance because we are sticking by JWH. His contact expires 2023, he wont last next season so time to have a respectful chat with Nick and Robbo.

The problem isnt JWH. We have lost Boyd, Friend and Maubs over the last couple of seasons and haven't been able to replace them in attack, defence or in attitude. The youngsters we have simply don't have the experience to replace them.

Instead of Jared running into 3 forwards and being smashed, I’d love to see him run at the halves more.

Guys let’s not forget this time last year against the vermin and gave away penalties galore and we were all calling for his head. He then went on to have the one of the great seasons as a prop and leader. I just think let’s critique him later In The season

Sitili? Ur joking. He needs to bunker down on his defence BAD.. missing simple 1 on 1’s it’s poor stuff.. reyno ran through him 3 years ago at the same ground and tonight koala did the same to score.. someone mentioned he is a flat track bully and I am starting to agree with that.

Sitilli needs to cut his/her hair and start playing like a real man.

I'VE SAID THIS BEFORE AND I SAID THE EXACT SAME DAMN THING EARLIER THIS WEEK ON THE "Squad v Souths" DISCUSSION POST BUT NOOOOOOO ..... PEOPLE WERE COMMENTING AND SAYING "BAKER OFFERS MORE VARIETY, BAKER'S ABSOLUTELY DONE ENOUGH EARLY DOORS TO KEEP HIS SPOT ! ... BLAH BLAH BLAH !"

SERIOUSLY ? HOW ? WHAT HAS HE GOT TO OFFER WHICH I HAVE NOT YET SEEN ? ... I'M SORRY TO SAY BUT THIS VIEW/OPINION OF HIM IS BECOMING STUPID ! THE KID IS A RESERVE GRADE PLAYER AT BEST ! ... I DON'T KNOW WHAT ROBBO'S FASCINATION IS WITH HIM, HE MIGHT BE A TOP PERFORMER AT TRAINING AND DRILLS BUT COME GAME TIME AND HE'S OFFERING BASIC LEVEL UNDER 20s STUFF OR GETTING PUSHED BACKWARDS OR ONTO HIS ARSE ! ... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !

I agree DP, DSF must be given a go and does anyone know how Atoni and Suaalii went tonight or any other hopefuls play well for the Bears? When is Egan butcher back. he must replace Sitilli.

Jared wasn’t the one who came on and straight away gave away dumb penalties (which he actually has been known to do ) yes we wasn’t his all inspiring self but so much more went into our loss tonight.

Atoni with a try running over a few of there players and made some nice hard runs. Suaalli solid defensively, lurked around and did the job when called upon in attack and made some great runs early in the tackle count. Straight swap for Billy Smith next week.

Whether he’s delivering in his short mins off bench is up for debate but you answered your own point - he brings variety. He’s far and away the more upcoming skilled middle in our system. Others are battering rams whereas Baker has more wrinkles to his game.

I did not say Baker brings variety, I quoted "someone else" who said that as a reply to an earlier post of mine. I see no value or "variety" in Baker.

Tonight ... we needed a bloody "battering ram" NOT "variety" or "wrinkles" !

                                But JWH should retire?
