No doubting Collins is light years ahead as a player. Just think he might benefit from playing a few 60min games in reserve grade to build back his fitness and then try to get back up to the pace of first grade instead of struggling through 30mins a game in first grade. Recovering from ACL injuries always seem to hit forwards harder than it does backs or halves.
Robbo has to use both Collins and JWH smarter - off the bench - 15 minutes or so either side of half time - the 2 starting props playing 25 minute or so stints each half - increase their playing minutes as their match fitness levels improve.

Keary needs to go back to 5/8 - Walker half and Tedesco needs to take a step back in trying to do it all himself by playing fullback/half back and 5/8 in the same game.

Tedesco needs to pick his moments to be involved in the attack now that Keary is back. It will have the defence in two minds not knowing when Tedesco will be involved in any attacking move and free up attacking opportunites for other players - the attack is too predictable

I think Teddy got in the habit of trying to do everything last season simply because he had to. It was really only him and Manu that was able to creat anything and then we lost Manu so it was pretty much down to Teddy. He will bounce back next week, form is temporary, class is permanent

Here are some interesting statistics I’ve taken away from our NSW cup against the bunnies -

DSF ran for 269 meters off the bench from 22 carries. Including 112 in PCM.
Atoni also ran for 175M, 2 offloads, 5 TBS and a nice try with carrying a couple of defenders over. Only played for 35 thought out 2 stints.

              Sandon smith 2 line breaks and 148M ran - Volkman 5 TB’s 1 LB and a try.

JS had 3 errors and only the 9 runs for 81M, no tackles missed ( 10/10).

Marschke at hooker had 3 LBA and 2 TA next to his name as well, so good to see.

Agree 100%... trying to be too smart by half at the moment. Keary to 6 and he can still call plays from there. Teddy needs to be more selective with his involvement.

Well I think Sualli comes in for Smith if he is now fit and playing.
                  DSF comes in for Baker.

Won’t happen Mate. Not in Round 4 anyway.

Smiths doing alright so no need to replace him.

Baker's hardly had game time so not much he can do in such short stints one has to say ( 22/14/15) .

DSF would be in the same boat as Robbo tends to use 3 of the bench players for most of the interchanges with the 4th bench player used very sparely game time wise and sometimes not at all in games.

Sure injuries my affect the use of the bench and I know the bench is used strategically but it must be used for maximum affect too.

Kevin Naiqama played centre and was an absolute turnstile in defence. I’d put our other turnstile Sitlli in the centres before this bloke.

Sualli got no quality call which is usually the case in reserves. He’s gotten rid of the headgear. Had little impact.
Thanks for sharing, really disappointed these games aren’t televised/ streamed. Personally, I’d watch every week.

Good to hear DSF putting pressure on FG team.

Very similar players in terms of what they offer, seemingly one in form and one struggling for form coming back from a pretty serious injury.
He’s been high effort but to me looks very clumsy. Suppose that’s understandable post ACL but just doesn’t seem to have his timing.
