    for the third week running we've left points on the paddock. we could easily have won today. if we do make it through to the semis we won't be there just to make up the numbers.

    togatuki and southwell were outstanding and some other good performances besides.

    I assume they will have the same squad for the 2022 NRLW comp which i think starts in late August- the current comp being the cancelled 2021 comp- a lot to work on as I have mentioned in above posts- attack/defence and reducing errors and penalties conceded etc

    Yes they left points out there and the Dragons 4th try was against the run of play - intercept to put them up 16-6 - through the hands was the go not the cut out pass as they had created a 3 on one on the right side and a try was on offer if executed correctly - 12-10 or 12-12 a real possibility and then a different game- Chooks had a try overturned by the Bunker in the First half which looked okay to me as well

    I expect the Broncos to come out firing so anything can happen in that game - rain expected though in Brisbane on Sunday- Titans should win as it would be a major upset if they lose against one has to say a pretty disappointing Knights side who are winless after 4 and virtually threw in the towel last game vs Dragons in the last 20

    Current ladder with 2 games to play- Bronco's vs Eels and Titans vs Knights

    Dragons 8 points plus 56
    * Broncos 6 Points plus 36
    * Eels 4 points - 0
    * Titans 4 points - minus 6
    Roosters 4 points - minus 15
    * Knights 0 points - minus 71

    * Game to play

        I don't think that was the case at all as they lost 9 experienced players from 2020 squad and new combos take time which in a short comp is a problem as you don't have the time- 5 to Parra / 2 to the Knights and 2 even to the Broncos as teams had to give up players for the 3 new teams although the Roosters had to give up more than the rest for some reason ?

        They had 12 players in the 24 player squad playing their first NRLW season. More that 1/2 the squad have come through the Sydney Roosters Tarsha Gale Cup and Central Coast Roosters systems as well

        They got better as the season progressed and were unlucky yesterday in a game they could well have won as they were the better side and created more opportunities including 3 disallowed tries- 1 which I thought was a fair try overturned by the Bunker. A fair few other missed opportunities as the match report alludes to as well.

        If results don't go their way today they will go back to the various Women premiership teams and work on their game to be better for the 2022 NR;W comp which starts later this year - this current comp is the cancelled 2021 NRLW Comp

          Bang on. Let’s get real. Even if Brisbane win by 16 or more and we get that 4th spot as a result, we’ll get bounced out straight away by a monster score in the first round of the finals. The two big hyped recruits were very underwhelming in what I watched.

            So Brisbane are winning by a cricket score....are we in?

            Might have got the wildcard.

            Hard to see us beating them or Saints but you want to go as far as you can....and you never know.

              Roosters NRLW side qualifies for finals in 4th place after Brisbane beat Parramatta 38-4 - Parramatta had to lose by 16 plus for the Roosters to qualify for 4th place

              Big test of course for the NRLW Roosters as they take on Brisbane Broncos in a 1 vs 4 finals match

                They should have beat the Dragons yesterday as they were the better side 3 disallowed tries and a couple of other close calls - Dragons got lucky with their tries - Big test of course vs Bronco's.

                Around the Grounds

                Picton Magpies are leading the Blake Ferguson/Curtis Scott Thirlmere -Tahmoor Roosters 18-0

                  great news. four best teams make the semis.
                  broncos had all the ball and were good but we've got players that can give them a run for their money

                    Need to match them in the forwards and defence and of course ball control and high sets completions , good kick and chase game, low errors , penalties conceded and nailing their chances are a must.

                      fair points ks. there's enough talent in the team to get the job done.

                      probably not a good idea to tinker too much at this stage but i wouldn't mind if strangey went with -

                      sergis - she's been good but playing at the back might mean we get more out of her
                      parker
                      meakes
                      kelly
                      tufuga
                      baxter - might make the attack more fluid
                      mcgregor - has done well leading the attack after coming to the club late, has a good kicking game and can go to a higher level
                      temara - better as a creative lock than a 5/8 i think. good in defence and a good boot
                      kernick
                      togatuki - often plays wide anyway and it would be good to have her on the park for the full 70. give her a license to roam
                      southwell - she would be just as good at prop as at lock
                      higgins
                      hill-moana

                      kelleher
                      joseph
                      predebon

                        Fark, we should have gone hard for Millie Boyle.
