I CBF blaming our players or the refs... as a team, weMte not gelling and it's leading to some pretty frigging lacklustre results.

Can we turn it around? If so... aside from sacking the whole team to the Bears and losing our minds, what can be done?

Play more footy, get verills and Egan back, practice practice practice.

I hope there's not too much to read into walker 6 keary 7, I personally would like kez in the 6, but he needs to lead the team.

Walker is taking too much from Keary,, We need Keary to be more dominant and running more...

I think it was 2018 we started real clunky. We went on to win the comp. Robbo and the boys wont be satisfied with our game.

On the up side, Angus, Rads, Keary prob wont play origin at this rate (other players would be ahead of them imo).

Yeah I remember being at the Storm game at the Adelaide Oval in 2018. After full time some old school Chooks fans gave it to Robbo as he walked down from the coach's box.

We were very ordinary that night. The rest is history.

We may have ambushed the vermin last night in the multi cultural round by choosing the up and coming islander forwards who would have played with more passion and aggression than some of the name forwards. They would have played with something to prove just like how Souffs do with their Origin approach when playing us.

A fulltime hookers role is to bring your forwards onto the ball at speed which creates momentum. Verrels will bring this, & Egan will bring another dimension up front . JWH needs to eventually start once he’s fit because he ain’t a bench forward. The rest will come together.

To me, it looks like a lot of our boys are playing muzzled. Almost like they have changed their natural style of play for fear of being binned or suspended.

get back to their natural game and play to their strengths. If we cop a bin or a suspension, so be it but this current shyt isn’t doing us any favors.

                        Turn it around?
Yes, but it's going to take possibly a long time, given our performance against Souths.
Maybe we can make the 8, maybe not.
We're stuck in no man's land.
...caught with older players who look tired and young players not yet top shelf first graders.
We need to start from scratch..all bets off, no player safe from being cut from FG and
shaking hands with the Bears coach.

Gone are; from our 2018/2019 GF teams and from 2000/2021 seasons.

                          Liu
                          Mitchell
                          Napa
                          Tetevano
                          Matterson

We did better under 2 referees system.

                          We truly are rebuilding.

New beginning should start this Monday.

Every player should be assessed thoroughly by statistics.

                            run metres
                            line breaks
                            effective tackles/missed tackles
                            mistakes
                            dropped bombs
                            kicking goals
                            kicking in general play
                            try assists
                            left side only player?
                            right side only player?
                            dropped passes
                            dumb passes thrown
                            penalties given away
tries scored - against tries expected to be scored
                            etc

The team picked on stats alone.
Well it'd be as good or better than what there is now.

When our pack starts playing with intensity and urgency we will see a massive turn around.
                              it's coming , I hope.
the backs were ok againsts souths.
teddy tried too hard which is better then not trying. If our forwards were dominant and creating space Teddy would have had a field day.
