I've never been one to think we're a hated or targeted club by journos, I actually think most journos have had a soft spot for us the last few years.

But I've noticed the last 2 weeks columns in Daily Telegraph, SMH and fox Sports all reporting negative things about us.

Whether it was us being worse than what everyone thought (Rothfield) or Butcher moving from Souths to the dark side meaning us(Nicolussi).

It just seems we're started to get the hate again and the love parade is over!

Time to embrace the hate!

The hate has never left, we are not hated for our success, we are hated because we buy the superstars, and when they aren’t working out, we just go and search for the next superstars, ie Smith and now Hass rumours.

Many say to me they hate Manly, Brisbane and Melbourne less than the roosters, because most of their superstars come from the system, you can argue names like Manu,Mitchell,mini, but they always just throw back, freddy,SBW,Maloney,Teddy,Cronk.

we will never have a soft spot from other supporters, regardless of how we are travelling, and that’s why I have no soft spot for any other teams.

We are harder on ourselves than anyone from outside. Our honesty towards our club, good or bad is what makes us passionate supporters.
