  • Fitzy & his Sharks

Wins against Parra, Dragons & Knights to zero, I like what Im seeing. Fitzy is reminding me of Robbo's 2013 season with the zero against score line tonight.
Early days but Im tipping Cronulla will make the top 4 if they can stay relatively injury free.

I'm liking what I'm seeing too.

I knew he'd improve our defense but thought it might take 10 or so weeks to get to where we need to be. To be best defense in the comp after 5 rounds is excellent.

Players are all buying in so recruiting and retention shouldn't be an issue either.

Not sure if Top 4 is likely but I dont see any issue us making Top 8.

Going very well they are and looking cohesive. Some smart player recruitment coupled with the new coach/es has them humming.

They look like a well-balanced side. With defence being a key focus and a bit of class and direction from Hynes, they really do look good this season. Still quite early to say they're a top 4 side come finals time, consistency of week in - week out footy is yet to be proven.

I think I was the only one to tip them top 4 before the season started.

They look very fit, the question is indeed whether they last the season or do a Parra and blow out 2 months early.

And whether the key men stay healthy. If Hynes went down, that'd be a crushing blow to their chances.

His greatest achievement so far is making them likeable.

Haha -- exactly. Just got to get rid of Fifita.

Nicho Hynes was an absolute steal.

I can't believe the Broncos lowballed him like they did. They're forking out criminal amounts for their overrated flog young forwards like Flegler, Carrigan, Piakura and Riki but couldn't find 700k for a stud like Hynes who'll run your team.

Meanwhile the Cowboys paid more for Chad freaking Townsend.

Club success starts and ends at the top. There's some absolute plonkers out there making the decisions at some clubs. Ben Ikin being the latest.

Am I tripping out of my mind or did both Dragons and Parramatta score at least twelve points+? “To zero”? Think you’ve got that wrong.

If you like them so much then go and have a drool about them on The Sharkpen or whatever they call their forum.
