You think Momorovski was given a bath by Staggs what about Cherry Evans, Harper & Saab.
Reminiscent of a young Meninga trampling his opposite.
Although he is right handed he can switch hands and has got a terrific right hand fend when he gets on the outside of his opposing centre plus the kick inside and offload coupled with his quick hands shows he has many strings to his bow.
If Latrell doesn't get back in time for origin I think he should be left centre as most of the other candidates play on the right edge.
I couldn't understand Braiden Bailey going away from him in the 2nd half and directing the attack down the right side.
Momo won't be the last centre given a touch up from Staggs this year, Reynolds is smart enough to give him time and space with his strength and acceleration. Schoup from the dogs might be in for a tough evening tonight.

Back in the day, how did the reply go to "Up Up Cronulla"?

"With a barge pole...sideways" was it?

I swear to god I have never said that shit. Not once.

Really happy that Fitzy is doing so well as it's a thankless and very public gig as we all know, particularly for an ex player in his maiden year as coach.

However, I just cannot warm up to Cronulla. I still haven't recovered from when we had to cheer for them to win a semi final in 2008 under the McIntyre system in order to keep us alive..top 4 for sure..be interesting to see how it all pans out..good on him though..still a gem of a person and head and shoulders above many in the game as a human being too..

If Penrith and Storm are top 4 certs and you say Cronulla too then that will leave only one top 4 spot for either Roosters/Parramatta/Manly/Souths and anyone else.

Fitzy is at Cronulla now and he is not going to tell his players to let the Roosters beat you as he is a former players/assistant coach/life member.

I’d like to see Suaalii used this way at centre. Not many could stop him. Plus I reckon he could defend the same play too
Hynes & Molan look so slick, Hynes is now 1 of the best players in the game & he reads things real good & then off that Moylan comes into his own & delivers beautiful ball to Talakai. Connor Tracey cant believe it who is also a top player.

I observed this last time I watched a game at garbage dump stadium (I think they have a new sponsor now). Their gym was just a little nook with a few free weights and they had a cr@ppy stand that (I'm still bitter about) having paid $$$ for away fan tickets in, some wanka barred us from (wife was ~7 months pregnant) so we had to sit in the mud/rain. Haven't seen her for a while but this lovely lady in her 60's or so (easts fan - have also met her at a Melbourne game where she randomly gave us a ticket that let us travel all around Melbourne) gave my wife a rug and a chair. Wonder how she's doing these days!

Lastly, ABC radio (who I'm guessing are allowed to say shyte about stadiums) were sledging it last week when I tuned in. They ranted about how their only way of watching replays was on the 'big' screen (which was tiny), there were no coffees for media (Halatau had to leave the stadium + drive off to get them some so arrived at half-time) and everything was just generally shytehouse.

In this context, I think Fitzy's done extremely well because I get the feeling he's working with what I'd consider amateur-grade facilities (i.e. there'd be private schools with gyms, ovals & training facilities 10x better). IMO it would be a hard sell trying to get people to join the club...
                Lots to focus on here.

Firstly I want to check in to make sure you're ok after such a traumatic experience at the football. I can't believe you had to endure such terrible things. Hopefully those Bondi lattes warmed up those precious hands of yours

Secondly, listening to ABC radio is your next mistake, bunch of fools. There was plenty of places to get coffee, I was at the game and saw them as I walked right past them to get beer. Not surprised Halatau couldnt' find it however.

In saying that that game wasn't the best fan experience, we're completely redeveloping the leagues club and you can obviously see the constructions works going on. Crowd capacity is severely limited due to safety etc etc but it's still far better than playing at Kogarah. And the team is undefeated at home. It's quite nice being undefeated at home. And every home game since then it has been sorted. Alot of those issues was due to Covid and being short staffed, which unless you live in a cave everyone is experiencing.

I'm not sure how many eons ago you went to that game but the facilities are fine and we clearly have no issues recruiting over the last few years - Finucane, McInnes and Hynes only just this year. Kaufusi next year. Years passed Lewis, Maloney, Ennis. We also have no issues retaining players either.

I appreciate it's your opinion but the amount of input a clubs playing facilities has on a players decision to go to a club would be less than 5% off the process. It comes down to $$$, ability to be competitive, ability to win games/comps. If a player is chosing a club based on it's training facilities then they have their priorities all wrong.

Though the Sharks are about to get 50m + from the government for a COE and stadium upgrades so hopefully if you decided to travel to an away game again it'll be up to Sir's standards

We miss Fitzy, get Fitzy back. Robbo can't coach without Fitzgibbon.

Is Kotoni Staggs eligible for a blues jumper? Aware he came from NSW as a junior, but as the QLD border stretches down to the Murray River, I'm not to sure.
