    How goods that!

Brisbane have been the school yard bullies and beat us every single game over the years. Revenge is sweet.

The improvement in this team in the short comp time has been remarkable. Onya Strangey.

    Thoroughly deserved.

Great win girls, the 13 hits like a mack track in defence.

I'm not the womens' game's biggest fan, but that was some sort of comeback. Great stuff.

What a weekend to be a chooks fan.

SG Ball extend their unbeaten run
Roosters men get up over the cows
Roosters women into the grand final

              Proud club!

yep, thoroughly deserved win. so happy for the girls and for the club.
down 0-16 to the triple premiers and a player in the bin you could have written your own odds for us to come back from there.
a huge, huge win and we'll be very much in it next week.

Held onto the ball, moved the bris forwards around, when the bronco's finally got the ball was in bad field position & too fatigued to be effective. Well done .

Caught the last 20 mins of the match. So proud of the women, could have been a disaster when conceding several tries early. Great character!!!!!

Thought the Roosters middles again were outstanding, Southwell’s tackle technique is a flashback to vintage Nigel Plum.

That’s a 1st for me watching a entire game. Great resolve by the girls. One thing about the woman’s game I find funny is the wearing of false eyelashes.

                            Game scorers and Teams stats

                            Need to work on ball control and set completions- First half 71% ( 10/14) - Second half 63% (12/19) - overall 66% (22/33) - Broncos - First half 76% (13/17) - Second half 75% (12/16) - overall 75% (25/33)

Play the ball speed was consistent - 3.32 seconds first half and second half 3.4 seconds - 3.36 seconds for the match - Broncos 4.15 seconds 1st half and 4.03 seconds second half - 4.1 seconds for the match

Might not seem much but if your playing the ball quicker than your opponent it can make a big difference as the game progresses and fatigue becomes a factor- opposition players struggling to get back the 10 which opens up attacking options as well as the defending team conceding set restarts and penalties and of course more missed tackles as they struggle to cope with the speed of the game.

I think that was noticeable in today's game once the Roosters started to get an even share of possession - The Bigger Bronco forwards started to tire as fatigue became a factor due to the speed of the play the ball and game - heat was a factor for both sides

Only sour note was Keilee Joseph is on report for a hip drop tackle- I didn't notice it during the game so hopefully she will be free to play - Has had a great season in her first year of NRL - Has come through the Juniors/Pathways at the Roosters - Tarsha Gale Cup and Central Coast Roosters in the Women's NSW Premiership to NRLW Level

pretty graceless presser from the broncos - complained about the minor premiers not getting a home semi and the keilee joseph try.
it was decided before the season began that the semis would be in sydney and the gf in brisbane. sounds like a good deal for the qld teams.
the try? once it was awarded it was hard for the ref to take it off us. the ref was in the best decision and must have seen it end up on the line. she planted the ball short but her hand never came off it and if the ref saw it on the line then that's what you call a try. not to mention that we had a fair try taken off us when we played them in the first round.
