Thanks for the heads up Eddie I don't usually watch that show, love the emotion he showed and how much the roosters mean to him.
One of the greatest edge forwards to have played the game and he would lead by example taking that tough hit up off the line and invariably poke his nose through the line and get a quick play the ball to start the set rolling.
Great player
Great captain
Great bloke

Well that was .... someone was cutting onions at my place to throw into the curry
I love his passion, heart and soul ... and he's the type of bloke that no matter if he played for the Roosters or not, you'd still tip your hat and respect him !
I hope he finds his feet and wish him all the best for his future endeavours and I really hope the club looks after him and keeps him involved in some capacity for life.
PS: Hopefully Matty did shout him that bloody beer ! ... he's worth a few million bucks at least !

1. Does everyone think in about 5 years he will be a great coach?; and
2. Has he done more for the club & team then Brad Fittler ever did? Is he more of a club legend then Fittler?
I don’t believe Cords has the personality to be a coach. Maybe an excellent assistant.

My favourite individual moments of brilliance from Cords were 1. His grubber kick on full-time to set up the match winner for Minichello in that classic round 1 game vs the vermin in 2012. And 2. His try vs the drongos at suncrap in the dying seconds (i think it might have been either 2013 or 2014.

great talk at a great bondi junction pub.
boyd sounded good. you'd have to worry about someone who's had their career taken away from them but sounds like he's taking the glass half full view, and rightly so. he's got so much to be proud of. don bradman only played 52 tests - it's more about quality than quantity, and even on quantity, close on 200 games is pretty good.
