Last time we played them was at Suncorp about 3 games out from the finals. We got a lucky penatly at the end which Keighran nailed to win the game. The game you are referring to was at the SCG pre-covid lock down

Sydney Roosters Members have the opportunity to attend the side's Captain's Run ahead of our Round 5 clash against the Brisbane Broncos!



The Red, White and Blue will travel to Queensland to take on the Broncos in a Friday night blockbuster, and you'll be able to witness the side undergo their final preparations at Totally Workwear Stadium in Greenslopes!*



Roosters Members will also be treated to a complimentary barbeque in what will be a perfect event to bring the kids to while they enjoy the school holidays!



This event is strictly for 2022 Sydney Roosters Members only. Registration for this event is required and names will be verified at the point of entry.



*Whilst our players would love to be able to sign autographs, take photos and converse with our Members, the current Apollo protocols that are in place do NOT permit players or coaches to physically interact with Members or supporters. We ask that Members respect these protocols and remain behind the fence line at all times.

Verrills must be very close if not a week or two away max to be starting. Glad that Suluka-Fifita has been named on the bench again, we will need his size against the Bronx pack and hopefully he gets some decent minutes on the park.


Jury is still out on Naiqama for me personally but he's got another week/round to prove himself which is a fair call.

He came off his wing and let in a try outside him.

We need to turn 4 into 6 most times...Walker cannot do that.
We score 3 tries and are only on 12 instead of 16 or 18.
We will pay for not having an ace goalkicker on the field all game.

Capewell returning is a big plus for the Broncos.
Our game gainst the Cows ... for 30 mins of the game they had a player in the bin.

This game will be much harder.

Billy Smith is out apparently due to an undisclosed injury he sustained last week leading up to the Cowboys match. Possibly he picked it up against playing Souths but there wasn't nothing obvious so all indication points to him picking up an injury from training.
