The roosters had better treat the Broncos with respect because any team with Haas and Capewell in the forwards could be a handful.
If the Broncs get field position ,and a sniff of a chance, you can bet Staggs, Farnworth and Tesssi Nui with convert that advantage into points.
They would not have managed to knock Sousffs over, if they were hopeless.

Thanks mate was wondering if he had returned because the team hasn't released their usual pre game coaches media interview yet.

SST out with Atoni coming into the 17.

Update | The Sydney Roosters squad has been reduced 24 hours prior to kick off.

Siosiua Taukeiaho, Adam Keighran, Sam Verrills, Joseph Suaalii and Fletcher Baker come out of the side this week, leaving Naufahu Whyte and Lachlan Lam on the extended bench.

Renouf Atoni comes onto the bench in jersey no.19, with Lindsay Collins promoted to the starting side.

If I had to guess it is a calf issue for SST.

SST is out. Lindsay to start with Atoni coming onto the bench for his Roosters debut.

Whyte & Lam remain in the 19.

Fletcher Baker is on the bench not Atoni according to the updated list.

So that explains why SST didn’t return to the field last week. That’s a big loss as he’s been our best forward so far this year.

Thought so. He wasn’t involved in the Captains run and while sitting down on the sidelines watching, a few of the staff came to him and looked like they were consoling him.

There is some confusion over SST’s replacement. The Roosters app is reporting Atoni in, but the Roosters website has Baker. The NRL website has not updated the squad lists. I’ll try to verify and update this thread ASAP.
