first live roosters game since we moved to Brissy and two things occur ...what the actual **** was that ref smoking and does alfie fkn langer still think his the half back ...he was on the pitch for 70 minutes
still...we got 'em and thats what counts

nope , dont bet on games . but i hate the broncos and wanted a big win on fnf . hopefully better next week vs warriors.

Next week both teams are celebrating the 20 year anniversary of the 2002 Grand Final. They will both be wearing the replica strip from that game and for us, that means ‘winning white’.

I wonder if Richard Villasanti will make an appearance?

Ugly win early in the season not a bad sign at all… slowly building… you don’t have to be flash now to win this comp… at least there’s a fight in them when they have to dig deep! Geez the ref was ordinary & the milking of penalties is getting ridiculous. Score more tries to combat this I think… lol! Uppa Roosters!!!

I liked Robbo’s comments in the presser after the game regarding how we are slowly building into the season.

He mentioned how we aren’t near the top teams at the moment but the plan is to keep building and eventually pass them as the season goes on, but we need to keep banking the 2 points along the way..

Not quite sure why you would be celebrating when the match is still to be won - do that after full time- Not a fan of try celebrations or carryons myself as it annoyed me and many others the way Penrith carried on after scoring which they have somewhat toned down.

All we need then is another Latrell for Keary to feed with the ball.

Crichton left centre, or Whyte...or teach Momo to tackle one on one.
Crichton killed it at left centre last season, or in 2020 when played there.

Everyone else seems to be playing second rowers in the centres.
Fast men rang rings around our left side last night (except Toops).
That left side needs a big body at 3.
Someone capable of tackling the likes of Staggs and co on the Broncos' right side....one on one.
