Zero effort to get to the ball as close to the bounce as possible, smash it dead with your foot if you can't glove it - it was reserve grade play which is where he belongs unfortunately.

    • Hopefully that win doesn't paper over some of the dumb mistakes tonight.

Momo picked tonight to have the worst game of his career. He is better than that. Kevin N? Don't know what to say about him. Esp after last week.

Sammy, and Manu!!!!! They are young, and they are OURS!

We did very well to prevail.
I think this is your most positive post ever I do agree we did well to come from behind and beat a team who were up for the match and played well

        • Exciting game of footy. Couldn't complain if we got rolled as the Bronx were very good, tough defensively.

Loved the form of Crichton and Baker off the bench. Joey is the Man now for the Roosters. He pulls us out of the mire, used to be Teddy. Toups just does it week after week.

We have some guys pushing for inclusion too which is healthy.

Hope JWH will be ok, played strong.

          • Thought Radley had turned a corner last week by going back and concentrating on just running the ball but unfortunately not he needs to stop just trying to be a distributor and start running hard again.

Must say I'm a little worried about Teddy he looks a bit "heavy" to start the season and has lost all explosiveness and not breaking tackles like he used too.

Big positive out of tonight was the stints off the bench from Crichton and Baker both ran straight and hard.

            • Jared , Joey and Angus were immense, and the forwards played tough.
              I am happy.

              • Yes they won, but that was totally unconvincing. Bottom eight is the level they're playing at right at the moment.

But seriously it was Joey Manu tonight
And Walker, he scored a try, kicked that magnificent goal under incredible pressure...then that great grubber.

Welcome the new centre/wing combo of Suaali and Keighran.

                          • Joey Manu and Sam Walker own the clutch moments two best on ground, Crichton big improvement great off the bench, JWH 122meters 40 tackles big effort but **** me dead he just does some of the dumbest shit you ever seen that puts us on the back foot.

Hopefully Joe Suaalii is ready to go I’ve been happy with Momo but damn he was given an absolute bath tonight and Kevin Naiqama doesn’t belong in FG, Luke Keary geez he’s so badly out of form pushed passes no passes gone to ground no composure disjointed, team chemistry is off.

Hopefully SST is good to go next week

We we’re lucky to get away with that one.

Who would of though Sam Walker would outpoint Adam Reynolds because this game was decided by goal kicking.

                            Frustrating to watch.

                            • Who would've thought at the beginning of the night that Sammy/Momo would kick 4/4 and rat face Reynolds would kick 2/4 LOL was the difference in the end

                                Agree with all your points.

I'm concerned we are stuck with a left centre that can't make a break to save himself and just had a game where he missed 9 tackles.

I hope he turns things around. What he's showed so far ain't great.
