I know Robbo used to cop a bit on here for not dropping players but time has shown there's value not yo-yoing players through the grades but instead giving them stability in an environment where they look for continuous improvement.

agreed, rather than dropping player for 1 bad performance, back them to redeem themselves. This do wonder to players confidence knowing the coach has their back

[QUOTE=King Salvo;n925223]Gees lucky some of you aren't the coach as there would be a different team each week and players hooked left right and centre during the game - oh he missed a tackled off you come.

It's a 17 player game and if any coach can get all 17 players playing at their best week in week over the 24 rounds then that coach is a absolute genius - of course that wont happen as some players wont be at their best and some will be better than their best (play above their ability).

It is what the rest of the other players will do is the bottom line - how they cover for this and how they play as a collective group to compensate for fellow team mates not having a great day/night.

I am sure they will go over the video with him to isolate areas that require addressing in his defence technique. No need to panic and talk about dropping a player because of one below average game.

It would be a knee jerk reaction to do that which Robbo isn't known for one has to say.

      Get behind him instead[/QUOTE

As I read your post all I could think of was how well Maubs and Friendy did this for us defensively. These types of efforts are what is missing from the Bondi Wall

Send him to the minors to work on all of the above

I know Mate. I stood next to him for ten minutes on Thursday. But according to BB unless you are an absolute giant you are too small for footy.

weve had stability of selection so far . were 3 from 5 , id like to see naiqama dropped, only cause he is a fill in and sualii will eventually be in there .so may as well get him in there asap .

I agree mate. There's some on here that still think he is the answer to as lot of our problems, whereas I think he would just add to them

Yep. Not going tom solve the defensive issues on that side of the field with Keighran. For mine the problem is bigger on that side than just Momo. You have Sitili, Walker (who is improving) and Momo on that side in D. For mine Sitili provides no cover on that side. I would be switching Angus back to that side and Sitili on the bench

Or move Walker to right edge and Keary back on the left where he was so dangerous just my opinion but Walker looks like a natural half-back whereas Keary i think is better suited as a 5/8.
Agree on Keighran he's not a centre and would have trouble against big strong running centres.
It's such a tough place to defend when they are coming at you with pace trying to help a smaller half inside you and fullbacks coming into the line to create the extra man.

Momo will be OK, he had an off night against Brisbane but I think he is our best option at left centre.
Suali's slower then expected progress has caused a headache. It bothers me that he doesn't have more to offer then Kevin Naiqama on the wing .

To get the best out of what we have on the left I agree with some on here to move Keary back to his favoured left side . Manu just needs early ball out on the right, wich will make things simple for Walker.
