The Souths game and the Broncos game had a similar feel. Avalanche of possession against us in the first quarter on the back of penalties and restarts. Very, very hard to get back on top after a start like that.

Then you would have been disappointed because NOT receiving penalties for the same transgressions committed against the Roosters is at the heart of the statistically anomalous treatment of the Roosters over the last two decades.

The fact that he has been fined for it, is more of a joke to anyone who has played as you are trying to get up quickly and the defence is just crowding over you..... It is nicpicking at its best!!!

Bingo... don't penalise the crowding, penalise the guy who's trying to get up and play the ball (then fine him?) Ridiculous IMO.

Ref should pay the fine for wasting everybody's time.

The problem for JWH came from the fact that he grabs James' ankle and then moves forward. Without the ankle grab there would have been no penalty or report.

If the situation was reversed I doubt very much that JWH would have slumped to the ground clutching at his knee like a whiny little baby so I don't think the ref would have even looked at it twice

Watched the game with no audio due to the obvious.
No mention of Ryan James scissors like stranglehold around Jarred’s neck as he was trying to get up for the play the ball.
