Think you’re putting way too much weight on the opening 5 rounds of the season. Last year for points scored it went;

Melbourne 33.9pts per game
Souths 32.2pts per game
Manly 31pts per game
Penrith 28.1pts per game
Roosters 26.2pts per game
Titans 24.1pts per game
Parramatta 23.6pts per game

I think it’s a pretty fair question to ask why you think Parramatta are going to be a 10pt better side this year?

I thought Newcastle & the Dragons were going to fire after what I saw in the first 2 rds but things have stalled & Ive predicted Cronulla will make the top 4 after 5 rds.
Its a long season & you would think Penrith, Melbourne, Roosters, Parra will make the 8 then other then Tigers, Dogs, Broncos the rest are a chance of the top 8.
