Watched the 91 classic game on Fox this arvo Roosters V Dragons we lost anyway Terry Hill was playing in the centres for us & he was only 19. He didnt look out of place. When Moga is fit & ready to go he should start in the centres, not on the wing.

Our five eighth in 91 was as bad as the current one.

Yer thats what I have posted. Your point.

Dont go on with the crap that the game has changed they still run, tackle, pass, kick, score tries & get injured no matter when it is. My point was that if Moga is as big & good as has been written, he should be thrown in & given a chance in the position he made a name for himself at. OK

As sad as it sounds i would take Brendan Hall over Braith Anasta any day!

Hall was an average player, but i have seen him make more breaks than Anasta ever has,as minimal as they were

Kurt Sherlock on the other hand

Sherlock chipped over the top, regathered and scored under the posts against the Broncos.

Lets get his debut over with already and see if he can add any kind of spark into this corpse of a football team. If I have to watch a backline like our Round 2 team for much longer I will jump into Hong Kong Harbour with a lead weight tied to my neck.
He got lost in the kids Grand Final...we need to win games and cannot be risking rookies yet.
If we lose against the Raiders our season is in trouble...so he could play in an away game soon...as we only won two of those last year.

BB...this is about the 4th time you have said this. The Roosters NYC team DID NOT play in the 'kids' Grand Final last year. They got knocked out in a quarter final by the Sharks. Please get your facts right.

I remember that day,Saturday afternoon game where we upset the Broncos!
I think that was Sherlocks only bright spot.Who could forget that game against the Bulldogs where Sherlock bombed a certain try by not passing to Gary Freeman just before halftime, that play still haunts me!

We were going for 6 games on the trot!

I remember I had a big crush on Brendan Hall when he first made grade (yes I know, I was young and impressionable).

Great club player - not gifted with great talent but always played whatever role was asked of him. Didn't he work at the Leages Club for a while after he finished up.

As for Kurt Sherlock, geez our dud buys go way back don't they. You'd think we would have learned by now - but no.

                            Loved Brendan Hall!

Limited in talent but gave his all. With the exception of Big Salvo and McGahan, talent will pretty slim across the team in those days! I think Anasta would actually have him for pace. The fasted Hall moved was when he palmed off defenders....

Oops, "short term memory loss" is what I claim.

He got lost in whatever finals game it was he played in...after he came back from suspension.
He's a rookie, look what happened last year when we played all those rookies.

This is not the game to be making experiments in...especially with NYC players from last season.
He showed promise in NYC...but as yet has not played one game in first grade, ...or Newtown either?
'All' his team mates from NYC last year are playing at Newtown.

If they play him, they'd better hope we win.

If they don't play him they'd better hope we win.
