  • What is the deal with Moga?

Is anyone else as curious as me? From all accounts he is fit but Smith still has not named him in the Round 3 team. Personally I have had enough. Lets get his debut over with already and see if he can add any kind of spark into this corpse of a football team. If I have to watch a backline like our Round 2 team for much longer I will jump into Hong Kong Harbour with a lead weight tied to my neck.

He injured his ankle in the trial and has not been 100% fit and the club will not play him until he is...

Maybe it will be this weekend, maybe the next...

Why is that so difficult for people to understand..?

Well I would say it is difficult understand due to the lack of and/or inconsistent information that comes out of the club and coach? Is that so difficult to understand?

Exactly, unless he's hiding him from the media.

MRIHK and Julz calm down and stop being paranoid. Ha ha.

Ever tried going to the Roosters website and checking out the INJURY UPDATE section?

There was some good news from yesterdays clash with the Panthers with the team coming through injury free.

In further good news injured centre pairing Shaun Kenny-Dowall and Tautau Moga are both rated a 50-50 chance of playing next weekend with a decision to be made later in the week.

Unfortunately there was an injury to young forward Josh Ailaomai playing for feeder club Newtown Jets.

The new signing did the medial in his right knee and will be our for 4-6 weeks.

General - We have a better chance of getting accurate information here on the Chookpen than reading the Roosters website. Those clowns probably still have a profile pic of Brett Finch on file. From all reports Moga was close in round 1, closer in Round 2 but by Round 3 is completely MIA just like our premiership hopes.

The information has been consistent. They have not said he is 100% and then not played him. He was injured, as often happens his injury may not have recovered as had been expected. Smith has said he won't play him until he can have the proper preparation.

I would be suprised if he doesn't play this week. I wouldn't name him ahead of his debut to keep him out of the media.

Smith needs a direct line to Hong Kong so that you can approve anything he does...

I agree, you should be the first to know...Get Fred to have a quiet word with Smith..

He has already played the first 2 rounds but the Roosters are keeping the information secret from the Chinese.

Moga not named in the Jets side this week.
Last minute 'Smiffy special' inclusion maybe?

100% correct if fit. The club's not going to risk aggravating a star players injury in Round 3. It's a long season. If the doc says okay then let him rip and tear. If not put the monster in cotton wool 'til he is.

Wow sarcasm. Whats the problem PTB? Having a bad day? My post was a simple enough question. If it does not interest you then don't reply.

I feel pretty confident of two things if he is fit:

                            1. He will play NRL not for the Jets &
                            2. He will be a late inclusion.
