This Taaffe fellow is far too good to be lingering in Reserve Grade. He could be a very nice budget option for us moving forward. I can't see him staying at the Rabbitohs as a back-up forever.

He's a great goal kicker too.

I can see him forcing Latrell back into the centres. How ironic would that be and a wonder if it would be a chore for him there as he claimed it was playing for the Roosters?

The biggest joy I got over the Easter week end was the Tigers winning & Jackson Hastings kicking the field goal, I jumped up off my lounge cheering loudly.
This is fairdinkum on Good Friday in the morning I took my dog for a big walk through Callum Park & when I was driving back home after our walk driving up Gipps st near Concord Oval I saw Madge & Cayless crossing the street towards where they train so I dropped my dog back at home & then drove down to where the Tigers train to watch them. I spoke with & got photos with Kelma Tuilagi, Thomas Mikaele, David Nofoaluma & Jackson Hastings. Kelma Tuilagi spoke with me for about 10 minutes & is the loveliest bloke, he's off to Manly next year.
Jacko is a lovely bloke as well & I actually said to him that if the bounce of the ball goes the Tigers way & they get a the 50-50 calls that they could cause an upset & they did.
I like all the other 15 teams but I only love 1 & thats the Chooks.

Anyone who's ever been down and out would have to have cheered on Maguire when Hastings potted that FG. I was very happy for him and the side, they deserved it.

It's been pedestrian attack both sides. Completions are all that keeps tigers in it - their attack is so predictable - they have nothing.
