He is having laser treatment to remove the tattoo of Katoni Stagg’s palm that he got last Friday night.

3rd choice at centre in 6 rounds.

Will be interesting to see how the competition for that spot plays out. I thought we would have seen Suaali on the wing this year.

I think Naiqama is the weakest of the 4 options so would much rather see

          3. Smith / Momorovski
          5. Suaali

But none the less I am really excited to see him play on Sunday. Could we a real weapon for us this year.

Suaalii is a first grade centre. Defence is his strength

Agree and he has great technique. In an era of grabbers he is almost old school in the way he follows in with the shoulder. Consistently hits and sticks. Hope he kills it.

Stats aren't comparable (NSW cup against some deadbeat v NRL against a rampaging Staggs) but has JS shown he's (potentially) got better defensive credentials? Last week he made 7 tackles and missed zero. Has his lacklustre attack been Robbo saying 'I want you to focus on your defence... you shouldn't be missing any tackles in NSW cup, dude'?

Staggs still got 8 tackle breaks (off 9 runs) against Pemriff FWIW. That's in a game where they were demolished 40-12.

Be interesting to see what Robbo's analysis is. A missed tackle is totally missing the tackle though right? Staggs is a fukking beast but missed tackles suggest that he's having issues reading the game properly?

I'm just guessing but I think Brisbane's will tactics were about as predictable as the Socceroos' 'pass it to Cahill' tactic. That is, they had a few set plays that involved passing it to Staggs and he failed to read the pattern, even after Robbo (or a trainer) has taken him aside to say (for example) 'there's 3 set plays they're using and they all result in the ball going to Staggs as he's their main man... get with it!!!'

I'm sure we'll see Momirovski again. Harsh world though! IMO he was looking good.

                          Is Smith injured?

I've been pretty impressed by the energy that Naiqama brings to the field. Be interesting to see whether he can cement a spot in the team with Momirovski and Smith both being quality players.

Apparently yes smith injured - Kevin has been rubbish ism. We need a winger that can catch, jump and cart it out of our own end - Kev can't do any of that.
