I prefer Suualii or Smith as the centre and wing combo. I do think Momo will bounce back he just had a bad night. I don’t like Naiqama in the side at all.

Keighran has to come in for Naiqama if you're going to play Suaalii at wing. He's a liability on both ends of the park. Even if you think poorly of Keighran's defence, he offers way more in attack than Naiqama (and once again Hutchison, who I am convinced has some inappropriate photos of Robbo). I do admire Hutchison for what he did last year, but he is NOT a hooker or utility.

Suaali looked good, not much ball down the right edge today so he and Manu just didn’t get many chances but they are going to be handful for sides this year.

You can just see in contact he’s just so powerful, looking forward to seeing him in some open spaces this year.

Utilise the good height and athletism our wingers Joe S and Toups possess and keep bombing to the opposition's flanks.
Plenty of individual tries or try assists I reckon.

I thought our kicking was poor to our wingers in attacking positions was poor yesterday, Suaalii would have scored but Keary put in one that was well short of the line that he caught and DWZ was looking right into the sun and Toups would have jumped all over him with some better placed kicks in the 2nd half. One play in particular on the last when we went for Gus on a crash play on the last tackle was a waste and should have gone up in the air.
With Toups , Suaalii and Manu it's definitely an area where we have a massive advantage over other teams.

Yes, this is one area we are way behind the better sides, and even the not so strong sides like Brisbane - Cleary and Reynolds have massive boots to get them out of trouble in their own end; at the other end the kicks are high, pinpoint and right on the try line.

Hutch is about our biggest kicker from our own end.

It's really hard to win games, let alone premierships when your kicking game is weak.

Totally agree JB particularly the point about the sun.
With the sun beaming into then eastern side of the venue DWZ was troubled with that kick. That was a no brainer to continue bombing that corner.

You're so right about our tall and athletic backs. The way in which Suaalii contested a bomb in the 1st half was spectacular. AFL aficionados would have been creaming themselves.

Thought he went ok. Obviously still a work in progress and may take longer than anticipated but should be well worth the patience.

You can see the class dripping off of the kid. Can't wait to see some dominant performance from him as the season progresses.

100%. They spotted this kid early. Plenty of time for him to be the dominant player we all know he can be. How good does he look in the air as well!?

Can we afford to be having "work in progress" when other teams have established stars?
