  • Listening to Blocker, is like listening to Rex Mossop of the early 90's.

    • Although the warriors did play as well as
they could, we didn’t help ourselves with some lacklustre attack in the first half, an amateur error from the scrum ( Hutchinson)and the staying down by the warriors being rewarded by a spineless ref.
Could someone get into Teddy’s ear and tell him to stop pirouetting and run effing straight into gaps . That’s been the most frustrating thing to watch so far this year.

True, but I think historically Manly and Warriors are the two teams we have dubious records against. Funny thing is I heard the commentators say at the end of the game that we’ve now won five in a row against the Warriors but I know our record against them is about 50/50. Great to get the win today though.

        • I attended the game, this game was always going to be weird with a rookie ref and match officials. Likely 15 minutes of stoppages. I love Easts but they are so unconvincing at present as is Robbo.

                • Very classy press conference from Nathan Brown who called for the match review panel to not even consider charging Radley for that "high" tackle on the goal line, also refreshing for a coach to not blame the ref post game when the media tried to get him to do it multiple times.

I love a win as much as everyone else but know 99% of the time we loose it’s because we were outplayed

                      • Based on what I saw today I much preferred Watson as 9 to Verrills. Obviously it’s his first game so I’m not calling for a switch right now, but he just doesn’t keep the defence on their toes like Watson does or like he himself used to

Harsh when it’s his first game and he’s not match fit.

His Suncorp kick no doubt gave him belief.
