Does it really matter who's in the backline considering they are not getting quality ball from the halves? Our style of play has to change as well as the team selections, we never seem to spread the ball regardless whos in the backline!

You are correct. The most our backline ever seems to be able to do is scoot out of dummy half. Apart from that they are useless in our team with the current (lack of ) gameplan -
