Surprisingly Bronco NRLW players Millie Boyle and Tamika Upton have signed as marque players with the Newcastle Knights for the 2022 NRLW season - marque players wages are not included in the 350k Cap
Meakes and Southwell both apparently good chances to go to Newcastle as well, both from that region. Both would be big losses.

Hannah Southwell may well sign with the Knights as her younger sister Jesse played Tarsha Gale Cup this year for the Newcastle Knights and was signed to a NRLW contract as well .

Jesse missed the Grand Final of the Tarsha Gale Cup comp as she was playing for Australia in the Women's Rugby 7's World Series in Canada.

Hoping that Hannah would stay and encourage Jesse to sign with the Roosters - not to be it seems

Pretty talented pair as Hanna played for Australia in Football (under 17's and Under 20's) / Rugby 7's and Rugby League

I would have loved to see Millie in a Roosters jersey

Has opened up so many new doors at grassroots levels for young girls and proud to see the Roosters associated with moving the game of Rugby League forward again.

Corban Baxter is such a good representative of the club, I know we will loose a lot of them this year as new clubs come along but I hope she's in it for the long term.
I know right? It brings tears to my eyes (not crocodile ones either, no pun intended) as they hold a special place in my heart as I lived in Clovelly for 4 years. So proud the Roosters are leaders in this field and not followers..professionalism, class and forward thinking..
