The changes he makes is always between those in the run on 13 and from the bench, eg; swapping Hutch in for Watson, or TKO for JWH or Butcher for Radley, so on and so forth. If you think he’s changing that left edge prior to game time, I’ll respectfully disagree.

I don’t see it being anyone other than Naiqama or Keighran who end up running out for us.

IMO , I think Hutch should do the first stint on the field, and Verrills should take over later in the game.
Hutch is the bigger body, and can get through the tackling in the opening exchanges, helping the forwards.
Its also no coincidence that our best 40 minutes of attacking football this year was the first half against Manly, when Hutch was on the field.
Not the quickest of players, but he makes up for it by being quick between the ears.
Someone else on this forum called him "steadying"
He seems to know when to pass , when to draw players, and when to run (and make metres)
Verrills could also benefit by using his speed against a tiring defence later in the game , and wouldn't need to make 50+ tackles.

Devastated we couldn't finish over the top of the Dragons last week. Looking at the stats we really should have won that game. We won the metres gained, line breaks, tackle breaks, missed tackles etc. But the scoreboard is what counts, and that's where we failed.
On to the Dogs - they actually looked a little bit better last week. If we can't improve our execution from yesterday, we might even struggle to put these guys away, and that would be just plain embarrassing.
We will miss Toops carries out of our end big time ... a few blokes will have to lift to make up for his absence.
Team changes are limited to Naiqama replacing Toops and Tom Carr into the extended squad in #24.
I'll be relying on sly looks at the updates on the Roosters app while attending a mates wedding. Hopefully I don't give myself up with (too many) audible groans or cheers.
