Why does Phil Gould hate the Roosters now?

It is hard listening to him call the Roosters games because he's tougher on them than any other team.

"Terrible kick, terrible pass, they're clueless here".

I think people actually complained about him a season or two ago when Souths put 60 on us.

Does anyone have any theories about why he's so tough on them? He's been like this for years.

My blood boils the most when we go sideways in attack....which unfortunately is the norm for us lately. What happened to power running and playing short through the middle, then shift ? Are we a touch old and slow in the middle these days ?

I don't think he hates us, yes the dogs are his favourite team while receiving a pay cheque off them.

What he says is tame compared to what is said on here, for some the truth hurts I guess.
We should be in the top 4 with the team we have but for some reason we aren't and it's frustrating.

How can you watch Fox then ?

I watched a neutral game a couple of weeks back with the sound off.

A pleasant experience. I do like the atmosphere from the ground, but not a fan of the current crop of commentators at the moment. On either nine or fox.

How can you watch Fox then ?

Because they seem to keep their gutter journalists who have their agendas to drive away from match day and I can handle incompetence over constant agenda pushing.

Don't get me wrong listening to Steve Roach is comical but at least he's genuine and not trying to be something he's not.

I also much prefer their pre-game and post game analysis as well with the likes of Ennis, Cronk & Brandy.

This is all said whilst acknowledging that the Foxsports experience has been on a continual decline for quite a few years now season on season.

Ennis has excellent footy knowledge but his fascination with players ‘injecting themselves’ drives me mad. Leave the Sharks days behind son!
