    Jackson or Kevin?

keary is a class player and you never lose that, even if takes a while to get back from an acl. for mine, sam walker is going very well this season. cronk and keary took 8 games to gel in 2018 and it will take a while for these two 2022 champions to gel this year but they're on track.

Good on him if he's come good, but his punch-up with DCE (after fighting with Friend... two highly respected club captains right there!) is enough to tell me that he wasn't the right fit for the NRL at that stage in his life. I mean let's be clear - he fell our with a bloke (possibly 2 blokes) featured on that awesome terrace house that we paint up.

I'm personally glad that we spent our time winning the 2018 and 2019 premierships instead of being patient with him.

ALL of our playmakers are currently a bit clunky, including the NSW (possibly future Australian) captain. Let's see how Hastings goes against Easts in round 23.

          And none know the dark

Amongst the widespread disappointment permeating opinion of those more brighter than myself, of Rooster related matters, I offer that, we have played ourselves into form.
The second half against the Dragons was very good, Saints had no answer, only some very fundamental errors on our behalf, halted a very good win.
All stepped up, I won't bother repeating those already mentioned, except that Sam Walker, by season end (injury apart), will be the best 6/7 in the NRL.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say we played ourselves into form, but bar being able to finish the many opportunities we created, we did play much, much better in the 2nd half.

If I remember correctly, he played over 5 seasons without missing a single game through injury. Back in the days when halfbacks defended in the centre of the field. While I'm not certain I doubt whether any recent halfback could boast those stats.
