  • I bang about stats but look at these stats below- the only thing that improved in the second half was they missed less tackles /conceded less penalties and had more than 50% possession

65% completion rate is rubbish for a professional football side and this impacts other areas of their game - errors/missed tackles for instance - to make more tackles than what you need to do impacts on your overall game as it must increase fatigue.

It's irrelevant that they had poor completion rates/high errors/missed tackles/penalties etc when they won comps - different game now - faster game and possession is king and one has to say this side is not able to defend such poor stats week in week out and are certainly attacking wise not as good either.

Those premiership winning sides could get themselves out of trouble in games just like say a tennis player can get themselves out of trouble on serve by banging down a few aces to get out of a jam.

They are in somewhat of a hole now being 4 and 4 as no doubt they would have been banking on being 7 or even 8 and zero after 8 rounds. That means they have to make up 3 or 4 games as the season progresses which will be very hard to do on current form.

It is a simple game you do the basics well you give yourself every chance of winning any game you play

    • We are rubbish Mistake after mistake after mistake But when you look at it closely this should not be a suprise We have a hooker who is hopelessly out of form We only have one centre of 1st grade standard who was MIA tonight A halfback who has lost two yards of pace and is a shadow of his former self since his ACL injury JWH is past his prime Collins average also coming back from an ACL We will not play finals football this year

        • If I can improve anything I'd absolutely would like to score first or lead at first half every game.

          • 3 tries a piece and we get beaten again by missed goals.

            • Unacceptable. The club and fans have high expectations. Aspire to top 4 or stay home. The last 2 games are a low than is not acceptable. Changes need to be made. A number of players don’t appear as if they want to be there. That’s fine. The season is gone. Time to think ahead. Probably need to sign a few players who want to compete. As for now, bring in White and Suluka Fifita and a few others.

There's no mental drive in them ..2 blokes who have been good this year Walker and Manu were the worst.

                  • For those of you who have written them off already, can we now back off the negativity and criticism of individuals.
If you no longer expect to be there at the end of the year, then loses along the way should be easier to handle and you can put this year down to rebuilding(again) or whatever development you want to call it.
For me, I won’t be calling it in May. And while I admit we are playing like strangers there are glimpses of what could be. On a few limited occasions I’ll admit, but they’re still there.

                    • If anyone wants to know why we are so diabolical, look no further than the attitude on display after suaalli's second no try. These guys think they're coming off back to back premiership wins 3 years ago. Instead back to back losses to sub par teams. Just show up to win. Absolutely piss poor.

Cant wait to hear robbo glow over our defense in the second half again like last week. Don't protect them from the media they deserve a pasting.

There's too much to pick out negatively as far as individual players are concerned. Keary plays like he's one headknock away from dying. He's mentally shot.

There is a major lack of teamwork throughout the 80 minutes. They same stupid sweep plays left to right that i'm sure every team in this comp and even overseas teams we've never played before would defend with ease. So predictable.

I'm calling for Politis to go in there and give the entire squad and coaching staff a rocket.

Bring back last years injury decimated team, they were way better to watch.

                      God help us.

                      • I could bang on about negatives but I thought Radley had his best game this season and Keary showed glimpses of his old self, particularly his attacking kicks

                        • We're rebuilding.
Trent is trying his best to compile a premiership winning team again...wuthout much luck so far.

                          • Terrible. We’ve regressed. I thought round 1 was our worst performance for a while and wouldn’t be topped. Robbo’s been saying that we’re going to start fast 3-4 times now. But that hasn’t happened, and it’s not like our second halves have been any better tbh. Teddy and Verrills played well. Everyone else just looked ordinary. I think it’s time for Robbo to make some changes and swing the axe

                            • Why are we playing guys who aren't fit?

Forget the 70-10 scoreline against the warriors, i'm legimately concerned about what these top teams are gonna do to us from round 10 onwards.
