To be fair, from what I remember NRL Physio posted ages ago, it takes longer then just the 12 months to get your speed and agility back post ACL. 12 month to play, then another 6-8 months to get the speed back.
If Keary's speed and agility won't be back this season, then why is he playing in FG now?
Why isn't he just training, special agility and 'work up to top speed gradually' speed training?

Why isn't someone who's fully agile, fully fit and able to run at full speed playing instead?

We won't be winning many games with half-fit players.

I lived in Melbourne during Bellamy's early years at the Storm. I watched a training session in Richmond for about 30 minutes. I reckon they did the same drill over 20 times until they got it perfect. Bellamy was screaming at them to get it right.

We should win by 50 but the way we have been playing in 2022 we will probably only win by 20.

Barrett will almost certainly get his marching orders after we win but in the unlikely chance the Dogs win Gus will take all the credit and tell everyone he is a coaching god.

Condolences. For having to live in Melbourne. What a shit-hole!

Three premierships would suggest to me that Robbo’s methods work too.

Hard to justify letting 900 odd thousand sitting on the sidelines when everyone else who has an ACL injury returns after about a year.

I'd be happy with just a comfortable victory and no injuries. No point firing against the Bulldogs. Need to fire from round 20 onwards but win as many as possible until then.

Probably because he's the best option regardless? He might not be at full speed, but he's still going to be pretty good.

I lived in Bondi Junction for over 30 years prior to going there so it was a shock to the system. I really enjoyed my time in Melbourne though. Sydney's eastern suburbs ain't what it used to be unfortunately.

                  Wouldn't swap Robbo for anyone.

TPJ always lifts against us so we need to limit his & king’s offloads as much as possible ( our Achilles heel in D ). Wet weather footy is a challenge and will place a burden on our misfiring attack might be a few errors in our game. I’m confident as long as our defence is on song and we kick better.. ie last night DCE kicked over 600M and Clez over 500M.

Not hard for me to justify...the longer Keary, our gun 5/8, would be sitting out, training only to peak agility and speed, ready to be used when needed, the more chance we'd have of winning the comp next year.

Hopefully the majority of the dogs squad are happy to see the coach get the bullet.
Surely they have 1 more inept performance in them

Reality, depends on which Easts team turns up.

                          Easts by 8
So far this season the only rooster team to turn up has been the bumbling fumbling one. Teams turn up when they play us and I think we just can’t hack the pressure of being a target week in week out.

Who was it that wanted the Fijian to have a run in first grade? Did you see that try he just let in for the Bulldogs? Didn’t even jump.

Bears look as disjointed and unenthusiastic as the Roosters

Very average backline. Not much spark there. Keighran is a superstar in that side. They are missing him. Hopefully with the addition of Billy Smith and Kevin they will improve.
