The opening tries the last 2 games have been piss weak. For Ado to go over from dummy half was pretty bad. Plus the first try the Saints scored was just embarrassing.

I was there during that year and the years subsequent, .it was awful. But I still had faith in them to turn it around and they did with Jack's help. Can everyone just relax. It isn't easy but have faith a few guys have hit the nail on the head as to why we are not winning just stay with them they'll come good. Go the Roosters.

1966 was the year my father first took me to a game and we went to most games until 1981 when I moved away from Bondi - he did draw the line at driving to Penrith Park, didn't need to go that far for holidays, in his opinion. Since then its been a rollercoaster and you learn to appreciate the success when it comes but not dwell too much on the poorer periods. We have a great team, but at the moment other clubs have better teams. It won't stay that way forever and I've seen plenty of changes over the years and even during seasons to maintain the hope that combinations will gel. I remember a school teacher once saying, when talking about the Easts teams of '74 & '75 that a champion team will always beat a team of champions. We have plenty of champions. its up to the coaching staff to turn them int a Champion team.

Like I said in another post Robbo would be good as Marketing/Sales Director getting people to buy things that don't really work or are not really suitable.

Surely the experiment of Keary at half is over though although I don't think that change will be made.

There are more problems with the team than just the halves combo though which did not affect better Roosters teams than this one is to the same degree.

Basic fundamentals of the game - catching / passing / running and tackling and other basics for an example such as supporting the ball carrier and game awareness - poor.

I know Walker is young and learning on the job but that pass cut out pass was not the right play.

The short pass to Tedesco was the play- Suaalii may have been a tad not up with the play but Tedesco would be through the gap and could also pass to Suaalii to score in the Corner if need be if Tedesco wasn't confident of scoring - 4 - 4 kick to come- not saying that cost the game but all those little things n a game add up.

Halves combination of Walker and Hutchison worked last year.

Keighran in the centres, Keary retired to enjoy his three premiership wins and not having CTE.

Well said, Noosa. We went thru a lot of crap over the years, but with Nicks help, we've come good. At present, it's a bit of a challenge for the club and Trent.

A few weeks after this, Doggies have sacked their coach... I mean... eeeerm... he's resigned and they certainly weren't going to sack him.

How does that happen? Were we seriously THAT bad that we lost to a team that literally no other team could lose to a few weeks back, and now we're top-4?

Damn I love Easts for the entertainment value. No other top-tier team will give you the same ride!!!
