  • I Stand By My Club.

Some of you call yourself supporters but you’re worse than opposition supporters. Yes we lost a game we should have won and yes it’s happened several times this season but you need to stick by your club.

I attended for around 9 years and went to just about every single game before I ever saw us make the semis. Some of you will drop off like flies with every loss we have.

Yes sure you are entitled to critique performances and players but some of your comments on here are just ridiculous and some of you have shocking memories. If you can’t get behind the club than jump off the bandwagon.

I can’t wait for the next game. The bad times make the good times even more enjoyable. Our boss won’t put up with mediocrity. We play for premierships every year. We will get back on track soon.

I’ll be wearing a Roosters cap or shirt when I go out today. I’m always proud of my club and love to show my support.

    I stand by my club.

    GO ROOSTERS!

For most it is probably just a knee-jerk reaction to an unexpected loss. Forums such as this are good places to vent frustration immediately post-loss. Almost everybody gets back in the saddle after blowing off a little bit of steam. The only time that I abandoned the team was near the end of the 1980 GF, which was the only game where I walked before the final siren. After that I always stayed at the game. The 90s provided me with seasons of hope only, as I sat in the stands with my trust that Silva or Salvo would save us.

We’ve just lost too many legends with very poor replacements to fill their shoes. Until we rebuild we are going to experience a lot of frustration. Momorovski, Butcher, Sitilli and others are just nowhere near the quality of the Morris twins or Aubs, Cords, Mitchell, Cronk or Friendy. The current replacements are just very ordinary with poor ball skills and weak in both attack and defence. These replacements are not going to set the world on fire. Suuali is the only decent replacement. The rest 2nd grade quality. Momorovski shouldn’t even be in the team. He stuffs up so much.

2009 anyone? Ironically that was the year a lot of my long time friends joined this forum..thick and thin, good times and bad times, sickness and health, births, deaths, marriages, wooden spoons, premierships...its the circle of life:

I don't wear anything else on weekends or after work when I'm exercising..even my David Bowie, George Michael, INXS and Cold Chisel T-shirts don't get much of a look in..

No one questioning anyone’s allegiance to the RWB but it’s hard to stay positive when this sort of result is becoming the norm and that the exception.

The annoying part about about last night is that just about every other top eight side would have probably lapped them. But not us.

Things will Improve and I’m sure we will be crowing again soon but the future isn’t certain. Yesterday was.

this is 100% correct, the forum is a perfect place to vent, nobody is handing in their membership, and not everybody needs to enjoy a loss as much as Robbo does after a presser, just because we don’t laugh off a loss, doesn’t mean anyone is giving up.

Agree bro. I reckon this is a growing side. Notice young Joe coping a keep on Twitter as over rated. Ah the kid is 18, 3rd game this year, scored a try could've had a hattrick if things went a bit different and he's green. So what, you watch this kid evolve. If I got an issue I just reckon we need a bit more firepower up front, remember 2002 we were the feared forward pack.

They boys will be down with the last 2 outings. but you'd rather them have that now and get shit sorted than later in the season. No we don't need to sack the coach (bizarre) but we need to own it and build going forward. Other sides would sell their grandma to have Walker, Keary, Teddy, Manu, Sammy V and young Joe. And always think Drew always gives 100% when he's on.

We might not be a Melb or Riff atm but every side's gonna go through highs and dips. But our dips are not going to be bottom of the table.

And if you don't like how they're playing....fcuk noones got you in a headlock to watch.

I don’t think anybody on here ( well at least the real posters ) is going to lose their passion for the club over last night. A lot of it stems down to frustration which we are rightfully allowed to feel but I’m sure when it really comes down to it, no one on here is going to abandon the club over the loss.

Putting some pressure on Robbo and the boys after a dreadful run is what supporters do, this is a knee jerk reaction to a knee jerk reaction IMO

A lot of my frustration from last night was accumulated at the game. Sitting with these dog fans that wouldn’t shut up all night giving our club crap.. finally gave some back when we all thought JS went over but it wasn’t to be.

I hate the kennel and their fans, some of the worst along with the scummy vermin fans.
