You have to run hard and tackle hard in the women's league now, it's not the same as when it first started.

Cleary was rampaging thru the middle and off for a try...until "brick wall" Gutho got him.
Matterson ran thru Panthers out wide, try Eels.
Kikau is now doing nice little grubbers into the corner for his winger.

Any team can be superior in any given match.
Many teams have only lost games by 2 and 4 points.

Who knows...but I always have a bit more confidence when we play these out of town games. Maybe it's the pressure valve being released a bit, the different environs or the bonding together more away from home. We seem to play a bit looser and with a bit more energy.

Toups back is a big in...grab a double today legend. He should be firing after the enforced holiday.

Holbrook will have a game plan to attack our weak points.

Easts by 20 if we can maintain the focus for 80 minutes.

We only need to go back to round 2 and look how we played Manly. 88% first half completion rate and solid defence right across the park. 2nd half wet weather footy changed a few things but we remained patient in attack and our defence was on song. We weren't side to side with the ball and tries flowed. Radley seemed to play with plenty of confidence and surety. Combinations and confidence were building then we got towelled up by the Bunnies the next week and since then we've gone back into our shells and our confidence seems shot.

Interesting that SST started and JWH played off the bench in that game. Since those roles have reversed, I think we've been less effective.

Still a game for us to step up and after being beaten by the Dogs we can't be confident of winning until we can string a few together. Hopefully it starts today. Roosters by 16!
