What a stupid comment about ten in the bin. These days you can almost kiss the game goodbye with a player in the bin. We were lucky the Tits were as spastic as us.

But watching tonight left me with an empty feeling.

I'm glad we got the 2 points.

Individual play seemed better but I thought our combos were still way off.

And I think the individual play was only better because of the poor opposition.

Please Lord, let me see the positives beside the 2 points
Good post. Well said. Titans really are rubbish. By far the worst side we have faced so far. We play like that against any of the other teams we lose.

It was a binning offence though no question.

Lindsay "Flipper Hands" Collins. I'll give him this, he does have a good pair of lungs, which allows him to get involved and get the metres up.

Each to their own mate. We've lack aggression and intent so far this season. Opposition don't fear us as they once did. Don't mind you calling it out as a stupid comment. It was the softest shoulder charge I've seen. Tits may have been bad but we got the W and that's what matters. As I said, each to their own.

I Concur. I feel EXACTLY the same. For a convincing scoreline, I'm FAR from convinced. We are miles off the pace

Pffft.....big questions. Impact was chest on, arms extended to wrap. No penalty.

It's ludicrous we are even debating something like this moreover. Shows what a crazy lens the games lawmakers have put on the defensive player.

Maybe a game against a decent side is what we need to get our season going. Bring on the next 2 weeks!

It wasn't a garden variety shoulder charge more of a case of making contact with the ball carrier with his shoulder and not leading with his shoulder.

                    But that's the rules.

As he was sin binned he will be charged as they will look a bit silly if he isn't charged.

Be very surprised in that case if more than a grade 1

                    Shoulder Charges- 1st Offence
                    • Grade 1 - $ 2000 ($ 1500 early plea)
                    • Grade 2 - 3 matches ( 2 matches early plea)
                    • Grade 3 - 4 matches ( 3 matches early plea)

Shoulder to shoulder. On field sanction sufficient

Did it ever make contact with the head? Direct contact is a sin bin. His arm is pinned by Angus, and from another angle his elbow is away from his side. Not a shoulder "charge"

                          Ludicrous sin binning.

it's a pity he cant catch with his lungs !

If he gets a grade 2 or higher, this photo needs to be shown during the case, showing Gus getting in the way. What worked against him is that he made no attempt to use his arm, even after the initial contact. Hoping for the grade 1, but expecting more

There's a shot milliseconds after that which will show shoulder on head. I had no issue with the sin bin based on current standards in the game, will be a grade one high tackle. Pay the fine and get on with it. Talk from the commentary team about a shoulder charge was stupid, the arm was never tucked.
