Sadly he’s very injury prone. A bit like Smith.

I'm gutted for him. Big fan. And under the realization that he's possibly going to be pushed by the cheese eventually.

Good footballer though, needed time to hit his straps and now this.

Least he will be at the roosters still next year, doubt he would be on any clubs wish list.

I think Ben Marshke is also available from next week

Poor bloke’s a band aid I wish him well but it seems Easts recruitment of Cheese is more then justified now, this kid just can’t catch some clean air for a full season maybe his body just isn’t up to it.
            Get well soon Sammy.

I wish him all the best , a massive massive potential who has only ever portrayed himself proudly in the Easts colours in performance and representation in the media.

Time out will depend if surgery is needed and any other damage i.e rotator cuff or labrum (cartilage)

                Non Surgery - 6 to 8 weeks

                Surgery - 8 to 12 weeks

The above healing periods will be adequate to return to footy but the bone will still be weaker for 4 months or so - 4 to 6 months for the bone to be as strong again.

Thanks King Google. Was wondering how long.

Feel for him… Selfishly feel worse for me having to read about who takes his spot

He can’t take a trick the poor guy. It’s not great for the team either as Watson is so much better coming on from the bench as a utility player.
