Appropriate finish for Jets a try in that tissue like Bears right flank 40-28]. Full time.

Bears played some real good footy in patches, but the defence was a big let down. Vuate and Naiqama not firsts standard at present.

Vuate got an intercept and looked set to score. It was Luke Metcalf chasing though who is super quick and ran him down.

How did Tuku and Vuate (excluding his tries) play?

Tuku played off the bench but was strong again. Him, DSF and May (esp) have all been putting their hand up.

Vuate can finish a try obviously as his stats are showing. He needs work on defusing the bomb to use his body position and height better, and his defence. He played outside a defensive liability in Kevvie though today which showed him up worse.

It's a pity they have perennial loser Jason Taylor as coach.

Sandon Smith looks like he is not out of place at this level - SG ball last year in 2021 and a few games in Jersey Flegg before that comp was cancelled.

The Volkster Ronald Vollkman didn't play any grade today so maybe being released is true

Not doubting his footy brain. Surely you can see the rest.

Should be used more in a NRL capacity

What is the rest though ? - It's not a personality or popularity contest when coaching or playing though

Taylor was a very good player - 276 1st grade games and 2107 points

Guys like him who coach in a feeder club arrangement have a very tricky gig. They have to mesh a 'core group' of their own club with guys coming and going from the Firsts training squad...18th men etc. It's a different dynamic and challenge. Him and Robbo seem to work pretty well together, I'm happy with that.

Can Terrell May play NRL if he's not in the Roosters top 30?
