Do you think he will be lean enough to play fullback? He's pretty big already, has a classic centre's physique.

Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

I thought I would add one further comment to the Suaalii Myth post.
Did anyone watch the first try Suaalii scored against the Titans?
Keary threw him a great pass, but Suaalii still had plenty to do to get over the line.
He stepped off his right foot, and beat the Titans winger pointless.
He is big and powerful, but he also has a wicked step and change of direction.
The kid is a serious weapon already.

He is going to be near unstoppable from 20 mtrs out.....
I'm starting to see now what all the fuss was about . He seems to be humble like toups with the power of Latrell.
The Chooks could have unearthed the perfect footballer

Yeah I think he's still a blank canvas. He's the perfect physique (like RTS but not vertically challenged) and possesses a great skillset while still being willing to learn.

Time will tell what he becomes. However I think that as our attack gets better, he'll be one of our more potent options in the outside backs.

The only myth is that idiot with the peroxide blonde mullet and porn star mo. Look forward to seeing Suaalii give the NRL's favourite show ponies a run for their money.

He is a freak, and will be a superstar of the game. Watch his interview on the club website today. He just has it.

                Bansai taking the piss, surely.

Young Joe looks as solid as a rock and he is just 18.

I hope he stays with us his whole career.

Still waiting on that announcement saying he has re-signed… It’s already been posted plenty on this forum but that first try on the weekend was phenomenal and has class written all over it.

I will accept that performance as justification of the hype.

How is his courage, strength and determination on the thankless carries, very impressive. Also love his reaction when he scores

Suaali’s temperament and attitude coming into grade as an 18yr old is ridiculously impressive. I can’t remember a more composed and clear minded kid coming into grade since Cordner.

This will hold him in greater stead through the rest of his career, more than any moment of athleticism or flair ever will.

I really like the way Walker and Suaali are being brought along. Both are playing with toughness well beyond their years and experience in the game.

His early carries out of our end were instrumental in us getting good field position. He's hungry for the ball and would often travel in field to take the next one after Toups even when the kick went to our left side.
Love his progress and you can see his combination with Joey is going to be a real handful for defences.
Big advantage to have both him and Toups as aerial threats as we can go both sides if an opposition winger has a deficiency in that area.
Kearys attacking kicks were much more pin point today.
