Buzz is usually accurate with Roosters news these days. It may explain Angus’s inconsistent and distracted efforts so far this season.

I think he has been better the last few weeks, although I don't think he is being used efficiently to let him excel.
I'd be a bit disappointed to see him go since I think he cops some pretty unfair criticism (although some justified), but at the moment he doesn't really justify what we'd probably have to pay him. Might just be best for both parties.

I could be way off but just trying to look at it from another perspective. If Gus wanted out, wouldn't he be trying to impress other clubs by busting his gut with amazing on-field performances, and thus driving up his asking price?

Spot on! But I noted his form is improving so he may be leaving.

I understand the Dolphins have made Crichton an offer which is closer to what he is seeking.

I will happily pay for his flight to Redcliffe or anywhere else he wants to go to. If he wants to stay for $350k then he’s welcome to.

He was really effective last night. I always like him on the left.

Agree. Barely done anything of note in the last year and a half

Surely Gus worth at least $500k.

                    $350k is unders.

Angus for mine doesn't justify his price tag. Would be no great loss when he only plays maybe 8-10 good games a season out of 25 for an Origin player on 750-800k. Will help us retain and recruit if he goes to chase money elsewhere.

On the money he’s on he should be playing well every week. He should be making an impact in every game.

If he leaves there would be no 80 minute second rower left at the club. I don't classify Sitili as one yet.

He’d be replaced. Hopefully by someone who costs half and has double the impact.

Egan Butcher will knocking the door down for a spot soon if all goes to plan.
From what I’ve seen, he is the future!
Egan, Nat and Rads making up the back row.. with Sitilli.
I also like the look of Whyte.
Gus seems to have reached his ceiling and it’s not as high as I expected.

Will be a great lock forward, problem is we already have one of those. I can see why the club would be looking to reinvest that money into a genuine second rower and I can also see why he would be asking for good money. Just an unfortunate situation.
