  • Predictions for Eels game?

Collins and Verrills will be out but Wataon's likely to return this week. Guess all this will be confirmed by the end of the day.

Other than that, we're pretty much full strength against a team that's got one more win against us... BUT... they've beaten the Riff and the Drizz.

Not sure how to read into this one, but I reckon a win could act as a serious launchpad for our season.

Are forwards their strength? RCG, Paulo, Papali'i, Matto and Brown are a decent pack. Whereas Gutho, Brown and Moses have lacked the consistency over the years to be anything but solid (sometimes sub-par) clubmen.

I haven't seen Parra play, but I predict this is gonna be our week. Parra's ambushed the Drizz/Riff but they've struggled against the Titans, Tigpies and Sharks. I know Fitzy's now a supercoach and Hastings is now the best half in the comp, but I reckon Round 10's gonna spell an end to a lot of the bullshyte. Easts by 12+ this week!

Oh yeah... Teddy, Crichton, Suaalii, Momirovski and Watson are gonna carve up too (silencing all the armchair pundits who think they're rubbish).

I’d be happy with a golden point win.
Other than the round 9 clash last year when we got physically (illegally) smashed by them we tend to go well against the eels. Hope the trends continues this weekend.

Parramatta are and will remain pretenders. They may be too good for us this week or not. Either way they won't be winning any silverware. Their supporters have classic early season ejaculation every year.

According to the tv news last night, where the Eels were featured, and were shown wearing fancy jackets etc...the Eels now believe this can be their premiership year.
They believe they have to and can play every game like they did to beat Panthers.
Their premiership charge is on, starting with the Roosters this round.

            Eels must be favourites.

This pains me to say it but I reckon they will go longer than souffs between premierships.

              Us by 10.

Always feel good matching up against the Eels, and I think we do pretty well against them stylistically. We were the better team when we played them Round 9 last year, and then beat them something like 28-0 later on in the season.

I do think they're a very good side, but just not fully consistent yet. They lift well when they play the Panthers and Storm, for instance. They were the better side in the finals last year against the Panthers.

I reckon we're a good shot, but don't really see us being at full strength yet. Verrills, Watson, Collins, E. Butch all likely out. All very serious, talented players.

At any rate, should be a cracking game. Chooks by 10 if we play well.

If we apply the Bondi boy theory, parra with Paulo, RGC, Lane, Brown, pappali are all too big and will run over us

                        NFI about this game.

We can win by 20 or lose by 20. If we played them the previous three weeks they probably smash us.

I'd be happy just to see us improve on last week's attack and hopefully no soft tries. Two in each of our last three games has been a concern.

Collins is a big loss for us. Might tip it their way in the forwards battle.

They probably get us this week but like others think they wont be there come the big dance.

On a side note with Parra WTF were they thinking letting their 9 go next year

Some sort of rain jacket I think...half asleep I was.
They seemed to be strutting around like they were the new kings of the NRL.
This is not good, confident teams usually do well.

                              Salary cap surely.
Maybe he was offered money they simply can't match.
                              Mahoney you mean?
Off to join Gus Gould at the Dogs.
Gould slowly building a great team.
