With all the games being played on the one ground, having a roof would of been a Magic round!!!

Because they play all games on the same chopped up surface and can still say with a straight face that player welfare is first and foremost.

The field looks absolutely horrendous and there’s basically 5 games to be played on it before us

Sounds like an excuse for if we lose.
The grounds today are so superior to what was played on in the past so don’t worry about the condition of the field don’t worry about the ref if the Roosters lose or a player gets injured it’s because thats life when you play the most brutal sport on the planet. Both team pay in the same conditions.

Referees pull penalties out their hats (or arses).

The grounds actually played very well under the circumstances.

Few more games to go before ours...can only deteriorate obviously, but fingers crossed.

Watching the Tits vs St Merge game. The Suncrap turf looks like a horse paddock. Really hoping there's no serious injury tomorrow.
The NRL should get the spectators to divot stomp the ground at half time during each game, like they do in polo

ain’t that the truth. The ground is the same for both sides.

The ground has held up well considering close to a metre of rain has dropped in the past week. Both teams are going to have to deal with it and we are pretty lucky to be worrying about football. I am pretty sure the people in Laidley and Gympie would like to have that as there only worry today.
