Shame we haven't seen him in a running lock role, he's so deadly when he just runs the ball. I think he's wasted at dummy half but a necessity at the moment obviously.

Baker has ball distribution and off loading skills which should be utilised more than just hitting the ball up - Roosters 16 offloads today same as Parramata

Maybe something of a tweak in the way they attack as the Roosters are certainly not known as an off loading side although that is something that troubles them defensively along with running dummy halves and teams that move the ball from side to side and come back through the middle.

Offloads are such a high risk play, we throw as many bad ones as we do good. I wouldn’t mind seeing us limit a few of our offloads to be honest.

Have to agree with other posters - only the biased, stinky 6 again bonanza gifted to eels made it a close game. Roosters way better team.

Well that was great! We beat a top four team.

That first Try from the big dog had me grinning ear to ear.

Adam Gee, well you gave us a good first 15 minutes mate and then when the scoreboard started to run out, all i could hear was 6 agroan! 6 agroan! Get lost. At first i thought the tupou no try pass was forward. On change of angle i believe we copped a rort.

I thought we have played better second halves this year but today, that first half was solid. Except for angus letting moses through. Walker kinda emulated that in the second half which led to, uncoincidentally Isaiah papalli's 2nd try.

I'm hoping gussy works up that form soon, like jwh is looking better now (uncle nick please get the one year contracts for him ready, he aint done yet) you can see the game that angus can produce just not at the level we want consistently atm.

Don't want to be harsh on anyone though, i saw all the hard work they did from behind the goalposts even though i wasnt at the game. I usually like spider cam or whatever they call it, but i think they gave control of it to a Fortnite kid.

Yeah agree this year it seems like he has been one boring pass to many. We will miss him though he is great we have just overplayed his ball playing at the expense of his tough stuff. We will get that balance right I'm sure.

I was really excited to hear we had re-signed Conner. I know he has had to play 9 every game and has been injured as well so he hasn't got to play the role we got him for unfortunately. But I have been disappointed all the same - he doesn't look as quick as he used to be does or is that just me? And as a result he doesn't back himself to poke through a half hole so stops props and gets tackled when he should have either just put his head down and gone or passed.

I would also like to see him pushing up in support around the middle far more - seems like often we have an opportunity for an offload in a half break and nobody is there to take it.

Absolutely! Walker's try was almost an anti-climax! Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you have to. We didn't even get a proper 'stands-view' of that try in the replays. The directors are trying to be artistes and 'package' everything instead of just giving us the best view of the game.....which is where the most expensive seats are, not from some distracting camera flying around way behind the play like we're an out of condition trainer with wings!

Their habit of crossing to ground-level cameras can be an issue, too. We basically missed the try of the season in the Cowboys game because of it.

On the upside....great win. Best and most consistent performances from Sitili, Moms and Suaali, Keary's kicking was great......and somehow, we're in the top 4! (Also, leading my tipping comp by 3 and picked a Roosters win by 8 points).

So, an excellent arvo spent at Suncorp , well apart from Gee and his constant 6 agains and the fact his arm only pointed one way , we were up at gate A second level…where was the chookpen sitting, cause I’m old and couldn’t see them ? ANYWAY…the game , Sammy Walker went up a level again and Joe manus twin little brother Bondi Joe is getting set to take over the comp by the look of him ….Jared Whatta Hardarse was brilliant , Keary was very bonz , tedesco had a cracking 100th ….one question (and I probably know the answer) why wasn’t that slippery walked for knocking Sillyfella absolutely wacko ?…..and I must say , the whole stadium singing along to “sweet Caroline” at smoky was a bit good
