Congrats to Robbo and the team. On a side note, the refs poor manner in how he spoke to our players was so noticeable. The Manu and Smokin’ Joe combo so exciting and the slow Baker does some really telling stuff.

Walker was responsible for 21 of our 31 points. Suuali’s try was better than any jump I’ve seen in an AFL game. I was expecting a thrashing but an entirely different rooster team turned up. Great spirit. I hope Radley is ok.

Very impressed by that performance, shame about Rads’ injury but oh well. Credit to Sitili who had a solid defensive game for the first time in a while, hopefully he can produce that consistently. Keary looked more at home which was big too.

Man, I’m recovering from Covid and nearly ran out of oxygen in that 2nd half. What an exciting game to watch. Massive effort from the boys. Really hoping that’s the minimum standard from today on.

I know some have been calling for Sualli to be left centre, but having him out on the right wing gives us so much potency in the air on both sides ...Toops on the left Sualli on the right ....deadly !!

I was convinced Sam's kick chase first half try wasn't a try watching this on the overhead camera. It's really that disorientating and bad an angle.

Interesting stats in second half - Roosters 100% set completions and zero errors - that was very much needed - Eels must have come with a wet weather game as certainly in the second half they moved the ball more than they did in the first half

Roosters 16 off loads for the match? maybe a change in thinking on this? - I would like to see Baker get more game time as he has ball distribution and offloading skills - 33 minutes today

God today was such an improvement. Our attack clicked, and in the first half our defence was incredible. Hell, even in the 2nd half it was really just some Moses and Papali'i brilliance that allowed them to close the gap as they did. If we can keep building and getting better week in and week out I think we have a real chance to shake the big teams come finals time. Still not sure if we'll be a premiership threat, but good signs in the last 2 weeks and our improvement.

What he does in the air is probably less important than what he does in helping out our yardage sets. Having both him and Toops carrying the ball out of our own end has been a highlight of our play over the past fortnight. That’s where we controlled the game today, we were turning over the ball in really good positions because of the work our back 3 did in yardage.

What a top tough game of footy between 2 teams that turned up.
Well done to the Chooks & I would now like my piece of pie.
Luke Keary was unreal & certainly showed me he is transitioning into the halfback role better than I gave him credit for, if he can play at that standard every week then the Chooks are a top 4 side.
All the forwards played tough but Sitilli was the toughest. JWH & SST were on today which helped the team get in the wrestle, Angus was good.
Suaalii's best game because of his toughness & his involvement, he ran so hard at the defence.
Young Sammy played his usual good footy, he is so likable.
Like I said both teams turned up which made it a top game.
