  • F Baker coming along nicely. He does all the little, ugly, hard stuff well.

I know right. Why did they keep going to that camera. It was disorientating

In what aspect? Again he caught the ball so flat footed because he just can’t read the play, there was one play where he needed to adjust and run an out line and he would’ve been away but instead he stayed flat and got smashed, he just doesn’t seem to be in sync with the rest of our attack.

Defensively I thought he was good today, that try saver on Simonsson was a massive play in the context of the game.

I like it, but then again I much prefer to watch the game from behind the posts.

Definitely messes with your depth perception but you get a much better view on decisions being made.

My 8pm flight just got delayed to 9pm. Will have to stay at Suncorp and watch the next game.

Fantastic win. Despite the 24 the defence looked better.
Travel safely my friend..I flew the flag for us locally today. I went up to Coles in one of my many Easts T-shirts and loaded up my Roosters shopping bags. (with green stuff that Rented Tracksuit wouldn't approve of as he doesn't want any hippy new age vegans around )

I did think of that game back in 2014 against Cronulla on a Saturday night where we blew that 20+ lead..you were sitting near me and Jack when that brawl broke out amongst our own fans..

That was 8 years ago now and Fox did bring it up..that was the last time we lost a game after leading at half time by such a big margin..

At times the camera angle was almost directly above the play. I'm just not used to it. Even at live games I'm on the side

              • On the six agains. We probably deserve some of them through being slow but to the tune of 8-1. Need to check how “clean” Parra were last week.

Use it for replays or breaks in play but not in live play

Please elaborate. What did you see? I saw a toiler who’s worth $350k.

                    • How good was Tupouniua. Massive difference in his defensive effort tonight. Haven't seen that defensive hunger or hit n stick from him before. Anyway, I thought he was really good.

                      • Could be looking for a few forwards for next week
                        - Robbo confirmed Radley was going to miss some time
                        - JWH might be looking at a suspension for a crusher
                        - Tupouniua has had a run of head knocks this year and with a 6 day turnaround they might be cautious with him.

Collins would be the obvious replacement for JWH (if he cops a charge)

Will be interesting to see if Egan Butcher has enough miles in the legs to come straight back into first grade.

Don’t know if it was a seen on TV but one of Parra’s kicks hit the wires of the camera. Teddy still caught it but had to deviate a bit.

His defence on his right shoulder has always been very good, so no surprise a switch back to the right edge saw a more commanding defensive performance. Both he and Keary were excellent in defence, easy to say Parra didn’t throw much at us down that edge but that’s because of how good we were at shutting down the play they pretty much had to play exclusively to Moses.

Although based on what we saw and with a 6 day turn around I’d be surprised if Tupouniua is there next week.

                            • Just back from a relaxing and calming walk Very intense and high quality game of footy Both teams were good. We would have blown most teams off the park today.

Teddy was his usual elusive self. Toops ever dependable. Suaali gets better each game. I yelled so loud when he took that bomb and scored. Momorovski had his best game for us and like the player we thought we were getting. Hoping this is a sign of things to come from him Walker is a freak and doing the great Walker name proud . Keary was scheming well

Jared tough snd scored a really good try as was SST. Crichton was solid and saved what looked to be a certain try. Drew excellent in the opening stanza Watson grew into the game Sitili was tackling like a man possessed. Butcher as always dependable Manu had the fend and flick going like an in form player. Baker and Fifita good contributors off the bench Radley was looking good till injured which was the only downer of the game. Hopefully we can turn up and back that performance up with the same next week against Penrith We will need to if we are to get the two points as at the moment they are an outstanding side

                              • Well I’ll take that as my birthday present for tomorrow. That was our best performance this season. I know Parra came back but it was on the back of a glut of possession with a very freakish try thrown in. Bad news is we’ll lose Rads for a while.
